Tooo many variables . How efficient is your stove ( Burley , 89% efficiency , cheapo Chinese stove 38% efficiency ) , how dry is your wood etc etc etc to give an accurate punt at it

A lot of power presses are foot operated but before the press bangs down the operator has to pull down a guard with a safety interlock . If you wanted it to be a complete pain in the arse but be sure you or anyone else kept their digits you could fit one . Personality I would not but hey ho .....

On a 24" it should be nothing short of mental ! I run mine on a 36" .404 and its a grunt monster . Mine has a twin port muffler which should bring it up to 7.1HP instead of the restricted 6 something HP strangled up figure . If you are not happy with the performance on a 24" bar there is something wrong .
