    Different disciplines . After a days climbing you can be totally fecked . After a day hand cutting on a 45 degree slope you can be totally fecked . As for sharpening , each and every one will sharpen up to how it works for them . The only difference I have noticed is Forest tend to put a little more hook on their chains .

    A tree surgeon who I like and get on with will not even quote if he sees some one else giving a quote as he arrives . The potential customer had arranged to get 3 quotes and we were there as this other chap turned up . The customer said please can you wait and give me a quote the tree surgeon said " No , I can see you are being taken care off " turned round and went . I do like the guy and he gets plenty of work .

    Someone posted theses a few weeks back . Does seem odd having the spike not directly below the shank but I would like to hear a review from someone actually trying them

    A very concise and honest review and the saw seems to be what it should be now , the motor of a 540 with the robustness of the Stihl ........to be sure

    I tried the Husky roller guide years ago and found that the plastic rollers eventually wear down putting the file too low and making too much hook .
