  1. Not as neglected as I imagined . Then 15 years is not too long .
  2. Check for TPO or conservation area or SSSI or national park status etc etc . If volume dictates apply for felling licence . Go from there .

Im just over the border in West Sussex near Chichester . Got a ported 390 on a 28" and a 395 on a 36" Maybe we could come to an arrangement hire wise . I would insist you use my 2 stroke oil in your mix .
  5. Mine would not pass CE now as I converted it to one handed operation
  6. Think the limiter is the blue coil . Dont know if any of the U.S. guys run with a black coil ?
  7. This was a " cheap Chinker " and I mounted road tow suspension with proper wheel bearings and its been going strong for 4 years now no problems .
  8. One thing to note is it wont be road towable with plain bearing axle .

Your wife is to be commended on her choice of mid range saw .
  10. I wuld have thought that as long as you leave the collar to " doughnut " over it will heal as in any limb removal ...given enough time .

  12. Head above the trench and POW !

Do you remember that film with Tom Cruise when he was young ? His parents went away and he had a mega party in the house culminating in thrashing and trashing his Dads Porsche . After the carnage he said " Porsche , there is no substitute ! "
  17. Exactly . I had a372 sold it to get the " latest 70cc saw " and bought a 576 . Did not like it as it weighed almost as much as my 385 ( now 390 ) . Was no more powerful than what I thought was the out going 372 so sod it and got another 372 . Then the 372 had a birthday in the shape of Xtorque and lived on . Mine is pre Xtorque but I still prefer it .
  18. Suede is can be made from goat , sheep , deer or cow . It is the under side of the hide and the surface is "napped " to give the finish . On work boots I treat it the same as smooth leather with " Leader Griss " . Good stuff .
  19. I could never see the point of 575/576 . No more power than a 372 and almost as much weight as a 385 .
  20. You know how to treat a hobbit VI . Thank you .
