    I like the Sugihara gloves that Rob D sells on here . No c/s protection on the backs but I have never ever in all my life had a chain touch the back of my hand . I rate these gloves . Cooler in the summer than most .
  6. I tried those roller guides 10 or 12 years ago and found the plastic rollers wear , dropping the file too low after a short while .

  8. Ge some one who knows what they are doing to teach you how to hand sharpen . You will get it in the end .
  9. As I said in my post had the self same thing happen to me using a 372 . It was a stone in the timber and the chain picked it up and wanged it strait through the casing . Identical . Nothing I could have done , happened in an instant .
  10. You really need both halves as they are matched . Bit like big end shells are color coded ...
  11. Not much flame not a huge amount of heat but like any wood seasoned and dry burns fine .
  12. That oak will have its very own distinctive smell as well . Have a good sniff of a fresh cut lump and log it in your mental data base
