Can you not make the overhang a bit longer or is it horizontal rain ?

For a given volume ( ie your fuel tank ) The higher percentage on oil against petrol the less petrol there is in the mix . there for when it passes through the carb the percentage of air will be greater against the percentage of petrol ( coz more of the volume s taken up by the oil ) so it is a leaner mix .

Yep . All my saws are tweaked . Spud did my 346 along time ago , then my 372 and 390 . well worth doing . The old 385 was ported more aggressively as standard than the 390 that replaced it so it was apparent to me it needed it .

I think you can get some budget boots but most are twice that amount .

Don't remember it was 100 years ago In fact the full wrap was on my 385 that got stolen . My current 390 as the standard handle but the large dawgs . ( spud ported )
