  1. Could it be a " cultivar " ? I saw a " fern leafed " beech revert to standard shaped leaves on some of the lower branches once .

    People Poo .

Its actually like a sort of dark brown powder or small pellets . The smell is diminishing now as its been worked in . Its not a new thing here its just the combination of wind direction and the close proximity caught me out a bit yesterday !

    People Poo .

I don't mind the cow muck/slurry stuff . Smells right to me but people poo is grim .
  4. Stubby

    People Poo .

The sheep have grazed off all the stubble turnips and been moved . Now in comes the big trailers full up with processed waste from the sewage works . Spreader is laying it out and a tractor with a sub soiler and disk harrow is working it in . The wind is blowing strait off the field ( about 300 yards away ) and it smells like the whole population of the village have crapped their shreddies at the same time ! Grim !
  5. It means you are getting fuel in but its not combusting for whatever reason .
  6. Yea but what did the Romans ever do for us then ? ........Strait roads , sanitation , running water .......Yea yea all right but apart from that what did they ever doo ? .....
  7. That is worthy of Mark Bolam !
  8. Noriuki Haga ( spelling ) raced one in WSB and there were the Cabury Boost bikes in BSB at the time .
  9. They did add a crank case bolt . Mine is the older type with one less bolt and still ok . I would have said if its not leaking just carry on . If it is leaking then you might need to replace the gasket .
  10. The Bee Police will sting you.......
  11. General election anyone ? Not really sticking her neck out much .
  12. Really ? , the only bloke in the world to use a twig in the back cut .......
  13. At Goodwood airdrome near me you can go up in a Harvard 2 seat 2nd world war trainer . That has got a bark on it !
  14. I think the manufactures put a huge safety factor in their standard tune to avoid blow ups . Also there is the emissions thing . If you remap/dhip upgrade your truck it does not mean its going to fail full stop . Also you can map it for economy or more power or somewhere in between . I think just making the engine more efficient is not a bad thing . If you go gently you can use less fuel than standard if you tread on the loud pedal it will go better than standard but use more fuel .
  15. If you use a Jet Fit head it wont melt , wont break at the eyelets because there arent any and it only takes seconds to reload but....Hay Ho .
  16. What ever the quality it is a fact that nylon is hygroscopic . So why not ? You never know , your line that lasts for X amount of time might just last for X plus 1 amount of time .......Oh no , of course its just rubbish . Silly me .
  17. I tried telling Vesp this Steve but ha dismissed it out of hand as nonsense . He knows best .
  18. That's why I don't use a bump feed head . I like to use the thick line .
  19. Has any one mentioned " flush cutting " rather than at the collar ?
  20. I don't bend over backwards . I lift the head up . As I said it takes seconds but don't need to do it very often as it rarely breaks . Maybe every 5 hours certainly not minutes as you suggest . Any way I don't give a flying feck what you do . I was just trying to help the op . I will carry on doing it my way and no doubt you will yours . Its all good ! .
  21. Soaking the line is only to stop it going brittle . ( it absorbs water ) If you insist on using a bump feed head then a squirt of WD40 or similar now and then can help stop the welding thing .
