  1. Go for it . Attitude counts for a lot . Climbing is hard though when you have not done it up to that age .
  2. Cant do anything to any TPO tree with out going through the proper application and then it might be a No . The big old boy that has split down is going to be a Pollard/monolith by the sounds of it .
  3. Yea . Done the same in the absence of " Barrs Seal " "or Rad Weld ".

I don' get in trees any more as I'm 64 ! . I have a modded Husqvarna T540 ( its a Mk 1 but has the Mk 2 mods to it and that is a flyer . If your 201 is not the latest cm you can get the Stihl " enhancement " kit ( new fly wheel , ignition module and other stuff ) for about £ 60 . This helps a great deal . Good luck with the ms200 . They are a dying breed !
  9. Yea . Pulling your twanger bud ! My Bloody spaniel comes before anything else .

No worries . Hope you get it resolved whatever it is . .
  11. Ok . Part of the casting then .
  12. Ok . That's good . There are ways to repair it if it does . Bottom right hand corner of the dent looks like it might go through but I'm only seeing it on my PC and I'm in West Sussex !
  13. Rectangular shaped dent about the center of the chain oil tank wall on the front of the saw below the exhaust . Can see it in the pictures you posted .

Did not mean the piston of the engine . There is a small piston in the carb that acts as an accelerator pump when you first squeeze the throttle . If this plays up it can cause erratic running symptoms . You can mod it to do away with this with an earlier type of carb that did not have this feature .
  15. Those hovering black blocks are dodgy IMO . Like something out of Dr Who

Impulse line come off ? accelerator ( piston ) pump knackerd ?
  17. Looks like a hole punctured in your oil tank ( rectangular shape ) or am I imagining it ?
  18. Does in run and cut ( I think it runs now ) If so its not worn out . Why do you think its worn out ?
  19. Dont know . Is it listed for your saw ? I thought most Stihl ground saws were .063 gauge but don't quote me on that . Best put a vernier or mic over the drive links of your chain first .
  20. Only if its for your Stihl . Mount stud size , oiler hole position , that sorta thing . Be silly to get the right gauge and pitch only to find the oiler hole does not line up or it wont fit over the bar studs .
  21. Looks a bit twisty but maybe Field Maple ?
  22. No . I would not do it either . Was just a suggestion for this one so you could get some use out of it .
