  1. Liquid Amber coppice well I can tell you . Felled one on my dads garden a couple of years ago and there is a 6 foot tree from the stump now .
  2. There is also the " Hunters Moon " which appears in October , after the " Harvest Moon " ( usually September ) and is the full moon with the red/orange tinge .
  3. Thats what I thought . Think we get two a year . Also one at the spring equinox . ?
  4. Do what ? Leave it out . Its a fit up Cuv . I never done nuffink ! .
  5. Phew ! . Thought I'd got it wrong for a mo .
  6. I thought garlic bread and cheese cake were the future ?
  7. OK . Mine is over 10 years old . Maybe I'm just clumsy but never got one to stay on for more than a few mins !
  8. i think property developers amatise the cost of a fine into the development overall costs as a matter of course now a days . Like ,say , the cost of fuel for the diggers .....
  9. I godda ask ( maybe you have already said ) but what is the make of the saw . If its a cheap Chinese jobbie then maybe cut your losses , get a pro saw ( Husqvarna , Stihl , Echo or Dolmar ) and start again .
  10. Now I thought it was hey presto ! Must get my glasses checked !
  11. Dont know what the capacity of your brush cutter is but maybe as others have suggested 4.0mm would cause too much drag . Mine are Husqvarna 45cc and 50cc . Oh by the way , can you supply the plastic end caps to go on each end of the Load Handler shaft and the black plastic collar that retains the spindly shaft in place ? Sorry to high jack and all that but just noticed it was you !
  12. I am really sorry to hear about all your troubles . One thing I must mention is the pump fuel . I would not use pump fuel that has been mixed up to the right ratio ( 50:1 with modern 2 stroke oils ) if its more than a month old . It starts to degrade the moment you get it from the pump and breaks down the oil that you have added . If its more than 4 weeks old I would ditch it and make up some fresh . Aspen is slightly different as it is refined from the very top of the refinery ( hence the higher price ) BUT it has a shelf life of 5 years un opened and 3 years if its been opened . I just wonder if the problems were caused by your Dad using old ( more than 4 weeks ) pump fuel mix . Just a thought . I do hope you get it resolved fairly . I wish you and your family all the luck I can muster !
  13. Signed it Steve . Alas the punishment I would seek is not on the list . Something to do with the Geneva Convention I suspect ......
  14. Work your legs as well bud . Get on the stepper for a bit maybe do some squats .
  15. Yea . Its the 4 line head but I only ever use 2 lines ( in the lower slots ) . I use a 4 line head as it keeps the nut under flush . ( the black plastic cones fly off in an instant ) . If you use a 2 line head the nut protrudes and digs in when , ( and it will ) the cone flies off
  16. Try this . Jet fit Oregon head . 4mm square line diamond edge by Desert Extrusions .
  17. Oh yea . I saw that pic on another thread . Looks looks a chainsaw I think was my sarcey reply
  18. think you should " cut and shut " ( after removing some baffling } them as soon as you get the saw . Runs cooler , does not fall apart , runs stronger if a little louder .
  19. There are a couple of guys on here that work/live in France but whether they are near enough I would not know .
  20. Was I ? , F S of Great Britain ? I might have been , cant really remember . I do however remember being a complete twat and saying somethings that make me cringe now . Pissed up and 18 ..........
