  1. The only Stihl I would be interested in now ( if I still worked in the woods ) would be the MS400 . Seems to be well reviewed on here with good power and light weight .
  2. I'm a Husqvarna man to be honest . Pretty much always used them . The old 242 and 254 were my earliest I think . Down to 6 saws now , all ported .
  3. Of course ! DOH 😀 . Thanks Andrew
  4. Is there such a thing ? 🙂
  5. So that it engages with the splines of a 3/8ths set up . I could be wrong here but remember having to do that when changing a 357xp from .325 to .375 .
  6. Fix the oil leaks , rebuild the diff ( front central and rear ) and fit some new tiers .

    Alan Waters .

    Yes , a true local legend .
  8. I only sweep the one chimney but I have an early Henry . The one with the 2 speed button . Its all it gets used for . I always have a bag fitted to stop it clogging up though .
  9. Ok . Busted . They did stay blue though 🙂
  10. I am bitterly disappointed . I stared at them for several minutes but they stayed just as they are .
  11. Yep . I got the Noco monster big F off one that can jump start a space shuttle . 👍
  12. Good morning Stephen . You are indeed early bud !

    Old saws

To be honest I would not buy a new , or second hand , or broken MS 180 all the while there is a hole in my arse . 🙂

    Old saws

Oh sorry Muddy . I thought one of your posts said " PM sent " .
  15. Morning good people . No way is there gonna be a water shortage this summer , surely ?

    Old saws

Muddy42 sent him a pm after he had posted anybody want them ? . Assumed that was a done deal but , as you say just an assumption .

    Old saws

I think he has done that from the post above ...
  18. Went to Alan waters funeral today . It was overflowing . Apart from Mark Odin ( MJO Forestry ) and Matt and John from DM Chainsaws I did not know anybody . I must have known Alan for 25-30 odd years but only from in the woods . At the wake it was the same , I knew no one . He touched so many lives all over the place .
  19. Good spot . It is the old mount on his full wrap ( from the color ) If his saw is a mk2 then there is the problem .
  20. I have a stonking Milwaukee M18 SDS Max breaker .
  21. Don't dress it up Rob . Tell it like it is mate 🙂
