  18. I went there a million years ago when there was one taverna and that was it . It was just a mountain poking out of the sea . Agastoli was the fishing port/market town . I remember you could see the island of Zakinthos or Zanti as its called . I slept on the beach too .

  20. Morning troops . Kinda grey misty morning so far . Hope you all have a productive day .
  21. Morning all . Big police operation , well big for little 'ol Lavant , last night involving several police cars , deployed stinger in a few places , off road police vehicles , armed police and the police helicopter . I could see out of my loft window a motorbike charging through the barley field to my left and the chopper circling. I don't know if there were others but they eventually caught that one after an hour or so . Must have been pretty serious for armed police and it costs a few bob to launch the chopper .
  22. There are Ash near me that looked like that a few years back . Some have almost completely recovered and some are dead as a Dodo . You never know but that one looks fairly good to me .
  23. Yea . She can't sing for toffee !
  24. Morning all . Bit of a downer today .A one way trip to the vets with the old cat . Will have to deal with my distraught daughter .
