    Aspen 40:1 mix

Red line says , on the bottle , can be used at 100 : 1 ratio so I am happy at 50 : 1 . Never had a problem and my mind is peaceful ?

    Aspen 40:1 mix

Been mixing Aspen 4 with Red Line at 50:1 for years ( well since Aspen came out ) Don't see why you could not mix at whatever ratio you want but can't see the need to go below 50:1 .
  4. Forget 10kg bags ( tooo expensive and dubiouse quality ) . Build your self a proper log store ( rain off but plenty of air flow ) and get the local log merchant to deliver .
  5. What about " helper " leaf springs ? I fitted them to my last truck . They only come into play when the load goes up .

    Overloaded

There is an overloaded sign just to the left if you look Khriss . Seems to show a toppling load ?
  7. On my Burley I can shut it down so that the flames are sorta dancing above the logs seemingly not touching them . I think this is burning the gas from the wood .
  8. I noticed the phrase a new version recorded by MacColl, she's unfortunately been dead 20 years. She had a stunt double ?
  9. Or the bleep in the Elvis Costello song , did he sing about the black lab in dam busters ? ?
  10. Drifting a little more , I think there is one or more still with some flying hours left on it as one appears on occasion here at Goodwood aerodrome to accompany the Spitfires and the Mustang when there is a display .
  11. I think its 2 different trees/shrubs in the first pic / I would go copper beech for the second .
  12. Agree with all the above except the 16% moisture or lower bit , but lets not get into all that again ! ?
  13. like I said . Reinstate the hole that was there with the other stove that worked .
  14. No not Donnington but I have done that . My claim to fame was that I was faster than Ron into the first corner ( Red gate ? ) but slower every where else . Always nervous going down craner !
  15. I don't ride any more ( 68 with bits of metal in me ) but there was a bloke with a John Renalds rep Rizzla Gixer . He had more dobbins than me and crept away on the strait but I got him after about 3 laps .
  16. 2000 929 . 954 was a bit more nimble .
  17. Love it . I used to know a bloke like him but he was motorcycles . He was 70 odd . I like the way its understated . I think they call them a " sleeper " car . You know the thing . Bloke pulls up at the lights in his Porsche , takes off and the sleeper walks away from it .
  18. My Granddad had similar , A swallow on the web between 1st finger and thumb , an anchor on the other wrist and one or two other things . They looked faded even then . My son said he wanted to get a tat . I said I can't stop you but I am not keen . I reminded him that its not like buying a shirt you like . You ware it a bit then it goes out of fashion or you get fed up with it and it goes in the draw . That was a year ago or more . No visible tat on him yet .
