  1. Living in cloud cuckoo land and how to deal with .
  2. If you go down the new pot and piston rout be sure to find out why it nipped up in the first place . Could be an air leak from somewhere . Don't want it to happen again strait away .
  3. I was just dozing off when I noticed the fishing rods in the corner . What do you catch over there matey ?
  4. Wide open Paddy , wide open bud ! ☺️
  5. I had a dodgy worm once , was on the can for days .
  6. Having had a couple of Stellas this evening I am going to have to do risk assessment and method statement on how I am going to mitigate any risks that might arise when I eventually get off this sofa ...
  7. Yea I understand that , same with pheasants and the Ruddy Duck . Like some villages round here . You could live there for 60 - 70 years but if you were not born there you are an outsider . What I am saying is somewhere down the line things have got to be accepted as native . Who introduced man to this planet ...?
  8. Your on it there Mick . Sorted !
  9. Exactly . How far do you have to go back before something is NOT non native . Take it back to its logical conclusion everything would be " non native " tress animals and eventually man .
  10. Yes its easy enough . This time round I bought the " dry " glass cleaners . Bit like a washing up scourging pad . Was quite surprised at how good they are . They come in Burley packaging and are recommended by them . Once you change your glass give them a try .
  11. Toilet roll middles . Fold one in half length ways and push it into another one stuff the middles with wax from Baby Bell cheese .
  12. I have a lump of ash that is at least 20 years old and I use it for sharpening up on the back of my truck . It has 2 holes for the stump vice and as you say its like concrete !
  13. Its not new . Lots of people use veg oil here . I don't like it myself but hey .
  14. I disagree . The calorific value of wood/weight is pretty much the same . So a big old lump of dense Holm oak or Hawthorn will give off more energy than the same size lump of say Spruce but the soft wood splits easier , is usually " gun barrel " strait so always processor friendly so quicker to convert . In fact I would say Larch burns hotter than most hard woods if a little quicker . I mix it with hard wood some times but don't think hard wood is actually " more bang for your buck " when all things are considered . Just me .
  15. Start it up and run it till the point it starts to die and then open the fuel cap . If it picks up again then the vent is blocked .
