  5. Talking of " back in the day " I went to watch a band in the local collage called Stackridge . Had seen them a couple of times and quite liked them . This evening they had a support band called Genesis with a lead singer called Peter Gabriel . It cost 50p . Don't know what happened to Stackridge but I think the support band did a bit ....
  6. Valve clearances not correct can cause popping on overrun .

  8. Also its good to vary when you charge them . Almost fully discharged , partially discharged and only slightly dis charged . Mix it up a bit . The old NiCad were best charged when MT . If you charged them when only partially discharged the could get a memory and only charge up to that point from then on .

  10. One of the pilots said why did you shut the fuel off and other said I didn't . Apparently not enough time to switch them back on before impact .
  11. Morning all . Currently 15c at 05:00 . On the up could hit 30c today . Festival of speed causing grid lock in the village from about 09:00 till 11;30 . nightmare !

  14. Morning troops . Too hot to sleep last night . Almost got off when the bloody fire works started from the first evening of the festival of speed Got another 3 nights of it which seems to coincide with the hot weather .

  18. 1,700 came over last week . Yes in one week . Apparently Nigel was at sea and witnessed the French coast guard escorting the small boats and handing them over to UK border force but retrieving their life jackets first ready for the next lot .
  19. That Egger me old mucker is exactly what happens . In the winter in one of the lower horse padlocks in West Dean the cocktail of storm water and sewage pushes one of the man hole covers up .

  25. First recorded actual battlefield case of Russian troops surrendering to a Ukraine robot ! Apparently two robots were involved , the firsts attacked the Russians and caused a lot of losses the second offered them to surrender or die . They surrendered and were escorted to the Ukrainian lines by flying drones and then taken prisoner with no Ukrainian losses in this particular action .
