    Ever tried snow chains ? Had some for my first truck but it never snowed enough to warrant them down here .

    Surely the only way to get the outside on the inside is to turn it round on the rim . If you just swap left for right you still have a worn outside edge of the tier .

    What I hate is when there is the a bit of snow drivers seem to feel the need to drive in the middle of the road rather than their side ans you then end up with a narrow band , in the center , that you can drive on . You then get confused people who meet each other head on . I deliberately keep to my side of the road trying to show others , from my tier tracks where to be but it never works .

    Sounds fuel related , like the high speed circuit is blocked . Maybe the little gauze filter in the carb is blocked ? Spud will know . @spudulike

    I was found in the woods , being not much more than an embryo , nibbling at the base of a hairy Spruce . It all took off from there ....

    I agree Hydrogen would be much better for the inviroment . . I am assuming that performance would be similar to petrol ? The only + I can see for electric is electric motors produce , by comparison , loads more torque negating the need for a gearbox . but as you say what do you do with the wanked out batterys . If I was boss of the world I would have said invest in the infrastructure to deliver hydrogen .
