    Chainsaw bar

Well there should be a small hole on the side of the tip ( sometimes both sides ) which will accept a bar tip grease gun ( a point type nozzle ) but to be honest I find it best not to grease them , assuming its rotating freely to start with . Theory is the grease attracts crud which can jam/wear it out quicker . Personal thing really . Some people do and some don't.
  5. Field maple burns well , so does Japanese maple . Burnt the both . Split and season and keep it aired but dry . Don't know what it weighs . If your down on the bump stops of the rear axle you got a bit too much in !
  6. Can't see a harness ?? Oh sorry can see one now . I would say it goes in the bin . Get a proper Stihl or Husqvarna one . More comfortable and more control than those strap type things .
  7. My mate has a Palax he runs of his big John Deer . He says he has put over 750 tons through it this winter and it never missed a beat .

    Chainsaw bar

You can un pinch the bar in the way you describe . Make sure the bar rails are not worn down or uneven dress off any burs and clean out the groove . Is the nose sprocket ok ? If all; this is done it should still be usable .
