  1. No worries, if you do Have anything then give us a shout anytime, need contacts I'm pretty open to what I do at the moment, don't mind doing hedging, leaf blowing jobs etc etc.
  2. Kabooooom! Kevin Mccloud came flying through the air, being hurtled by a misplaced exploding log placed by the dastardly......
  3. I ran veg oil diesel mix in my landy no probs. winter you may need to mix a little more diesel.
  4. Lowa mountain or combat boots, very very waterproof and Scotland proof. Very much loved by Army types as replacement for standard issue boot.
  5. I got it but never had a successful transaction. Cards either don't read or it says declined. Gave up using it, was getting embarrassing.
  6. Another one for the Stihl MS260. Lovely and light, easy to start, feels balanced (and it's Stihl )
  7. Recently passed my cs 38/39 and on a transitional period into more full time arb work rather than trying to squeeze it around my job. I have a few peeps who give me work from here when available but i'm still fairly fresh to the scene so don't have enough to fill my diary. looking to see if anybody is wanting a freelance self employed groundy/newb climber as my diary needs a bit of filling. I have own ppe, groundy saw, car etc and will travel around Hull, York, East and North Yorkshire. I am based nr Beverley. Cheers Andy
  8. If he was a mate then he wouldn't be giving you all the hassle IMO

    Strong bridge

Who found themselves playing the guessing game of "how much damage is gonna happen" with each truck before it hit?
  11. what do we think to this? Saw it on walk with dog, sorry for crappy quality.
  12. I have pair of the Oregon waipoua and they're very comfy, thin and reasonably cool. I havn't had them too long so can't comment on longevity though.
  13. They have obviously been watching "tales from the wild wood" and think 4 guys are gonna come along and conclude this tree is good for artisan chair making.
  14. I find iPad pretty compatible Pete. Got the Apple version of excel on ipad (which is much nicer) for accounts etc and you can access it on pc and edit it etc saved on the cloud. Eventually you do find yourself using iPad most of the time because its faster and easier. And as they say "there's an app for that"
  15. I've woken myself up starting a saw before, it's bizarre.
  16. I had an otter box for my 4s and I broke it within 5 minutes because of thin silicone ripping so sent it back and got a griffin survivor which is better but not as compact.
  17. Doesn't have to be Stihl just the price is close to what I wanna spend. It's for the quiet days when you know that your family, neighbour or friend wants their hedges doing and you know you can get a few quid (and our hawthorn is crying out for a trim)
  18. Had a quick search on here but couldn't find anything on the hs56. Looking for a a good hedge trimmer for occasional pro use, looking around the 300 quid mark. Anybody any experiences?
  19. I have the clear Stihl with double oil spouts and love it. Used the auto nozzle on others but that gets stuck a lot. Feels solid bit of kit.
  20. With me it usually ends up being a breaker bar full pelt into a tree when I get pissed off. Usually quite calm though.
  21. If they are good just get a new pair
