I'm plagued with the little blighters at the mo, they have ruined my perfect lawn which I spent last summer laying. I have bought a couple of tunnel traps but haven't had any luck so i have just purchased some repelling granules instead. Fingers crossed. I'll be happy for them to move on
  2. I agree with spud, if anything that plug looks like it's running a little lean. As already been said rich up the h screw a bit and inspect again after a tank or two of fuels gone through.
  3. Banksy has painted Norway maple bark on it to confuse us.
  4. Mouth out words of taken the my
  5. Get him Chris
  6. The petzl looks a good idea especially with the ZZ. But does the excess not get in the way when cutting etc? Looks like it would be in the way and easy to catch with the saw?
  7. Yes of course, if your teacher is qualified/competent they can teach you, in turn you gain experience and then becoming qualified is easy. Then the learning begins.
  8. I suggest doing it the other way around may be the better option.
  9. As the saying goes, you can't beat experience! Obviously the qualifications and certificates look good and help you get employed and go some way to showing competence of a certain degree however, hands on experience and working with experienced workers is invaluble. Wish you well.
  10. What they don't want you taking their work?
  11. Because we have been desensitised by the once unbelievable stuff that seems to happen everyday these days. There seems no point in making a fuss, no one listens anyway, things have gone too far, just sit back and enjoy the show.
  12. My answer would be no.
  13. I often dream of having some kind of laser pen for those kind of jobs
  14. I agree with this also
  15. I agree
  16. I know mate, I totally understand. Just thought I would highlight the fact it is actually illegal to crack on regardless. And giving that advice on here doesn't look good. Which admittedly I did in a shitty way
  17. Just reminding a couple of people
  18. I think it's common sense and the right of any worker to refuse to do something that they feel is unsafe or beyond their capabilities.
  19. Isn't it illegal to interfere with nesting birds?
  20. id be up for that, something different. It's my New Years resolution to try and enjoy myself a bit more and make time to do things I feel I don't have time to do normally. Meeting some like minded professionals and discussing the latest developments in our industry could be helpful. Yeah right. Getting pissed up with a load of strangers sounds fun more like. I'll bring my climbing stuff and my knives an axes an mi air rifle an we can shoot cans an ill bring me toy soljers an we can lite a fire an ...............
  21. Yes that's what I did, was very funny, give me a shout if your struggling with your speech, I'll see if I can dig mine out
  22. I gave oak seedlings to everyone at my wedding, it went down really well. I bought them from alba trees in Scotland. The lady I deal with there is called Margaret, she is very helpful. They even supplied the cell grown trees in small Essien sacks, just the job, from memory I think they only cost a pound each with the bags. I was surprised how much people appreciated having a little tree to take home, when 80% of my day is spent listening to people who want trees removed. It's a nice touch and an investment for the future of the industry.
  23. 100 psi is low, anything 130 or lower isn't good
