  2. Checking the stats for old Froggies gob, he opens to 13mm, which given everything on the TM is below this except the main attchment ring, surely it would still work ? No clue, it was quite an old one I tried.

  5. There's a big difference between doing a job well and getting away with doing a job poorly. In my opinion this case is the latter. The unnecessary one handing at that height and the excessive drop in the rigging system exhibit that. When you're unwilling to consider constructive criticism you pave the way for incidents like the one Wayne mentioned above.
  6. Bloody good saws when they're correctly tuned mind. Better than the 150 by a long way.
  7. Yeah that's one downside. The carbs are temperamental. Spuds worked on mine and its way better. I've also got myself a tach and their tuning screwdriver for if it needs adjusting again. The carb settings are in the owners manual and @Rob D has a decent video on YouTube showing how to set them up
  8. Got too agree with this. The larger topper is a cumbersome lump. People notice the difference between my echo 2511 and the 150 when they use it. I reckon it's class leading.
  9. Spent plenty on it I'm cutting my losses and you'll have to fix my bodges
  10. I've found them to have more grip on wet grass than my mates bfgs, as the less aggressive tread will slide on grass whereas his tore the turf up. Like I said their on road performance is bloody good. I wanted some capable off road tyres without sacrificing day to day driving.
  11. I went for the coopers over the bfgs as apparently they've got better manners on wet tarmac, which I spend more time on than mud. Haven't been stuck yet.

  14. I had spud bypass the CAT in the exhaust which has certainly improved pickup and it pulls stronger through the cut
  15. Mick, swapping to the tiny chain and bar is the most important mod you'll do on that saw. Get a magnifying glass with a lamp on it and a proper file guide for the tiny file to help. It's like buying a fast car and driving it with the handbrake half on otherwise.
  16. You're onto a loser there mate. Let the fuckwits work for people who are happy to pay them. Be thankful of the clients you have that are happy to pay for professionalism. Or to look at it another way we need people setting the bottom of the grade curve. If you're somewhere in the middle of that curve and the bottom vanished guess where you're left!

  19. The onus is on the climber here for sure. I've seen climbers with no less that four of those shiny dmm ones on their saddle! I've got one on my left side fire hanging things and don't get too much bother as its round the back and usually locked. The ropeguide that normally hangs off it can be taken off without opening the clip. My saw clip up is a large caritool with the gate removed. It's been on there since I've had the harness and happily holds a 66 but would break with a decent amount of pressure
