  1. Hiya I have a little echo cs280wes with a 10" bar. It's a nice little saw but I'm trying to get a little more oomph out of it. I have just removed the wire mesh spark arrester.....anyone had experience of doing this? Is it worthwhile??
  2. Cheers spud! Legend! I'll have a look tomorrow, hopefully I can just replace the lead!
  3. Hiya! Just bought an fs450 for 100 bucks, starts and works fine but on inspection the rubber plug boot and the wire insert are not connected to the lead, it pushes onto the plug fine and must be close enough for it to run but would like to sort it properly! Can you just replace the plug lead or is it a coil and lead job? Spouse I could solder a longer plug lead on the existing bit of lead??
  4. Thanks guys, will have a tinker with it!
  5. Hiya, My 260 is rattling like the stamps, prob small end or big end bearings, also smoking quite alot so maybe rings too. Might rebuild it but been offered an 021 locally, New coil, bar, chain etc for £130. It's not forestry grade but are they any good?!
  6. Do portek discs fit? Didn't see spare ones in lidls!
  7. Hiya, is anyone else getting lots of emails from "bark.com" offering leads to jobs? Is it legit??
  8. Cool. It's not really an issue, just wondered if I was doing sommit wrong!
  9. Just had a play, I'm impressed! Does anyone else find it sharpens to a slightly deeper depth on one side of the chain? Not much to worry about just curious!
  10. I'm only small scale mate so just hand ball but if I had a forklift or loader it would be easy enough to cut one side out of the cage and attach it with some clips so you can hinge it once it's above your trailer etc and empty using the loader!
  11. In my limited experience IBC cages are prob the best, 1m2, plenty of ventilation and easily stackable! Customer wants a cube you just fork it to your truck and empty it!
  12. Just bought one of these, looks ok for the money!!!
  13. That's about 6 miles from me. What are they after?
  14. Iveco crew cab tippers are great work vehicles!
  15. Tried turning the wheels around mate, the offset is the same! Thanks though!
  16. Just weird that it don't fit....maybe there are cs100's with different wheelbases!!
  17. I best stock up on cutting discs then! Lol!!
  18. Hiya! Just bought a benford single roller trailer to pull my cs100 around on as apparently they fit like a glove......! Not mine! The space between the ramps and the part where the roller would have sat is approx 28", the wheelbase of my cs100 is 29.5"! Anyone else had this problem? Looks like im going to have to remove bits of the trailer to get it to fit which will be a pain as the bits I need to cut off are 10mm steel! Anyone else had issues??

  20. Bugger. Just had mine changed, bet they did them to 35!!
  21. If you made something like in the pic u posted and would the jockey wheel up so it pushes against the box section it wouldn't move and being rubber would do the same job as a rubber foot! I'm thinking of making something similar!
  22. Been looking at the mini chainmaster mk2.
