  1. Cheers guys!
  2. Lumag and forest master both do a cs100 clone, the forest master even looks easier to change blades and they are held on with hex head bolts!!!!
  3. Cheers guys! Thought I read somewhere that the initial load to start the motor was something like twice the normal draw so will have to go back to the drawing board.....or the maul!
  4. Hiya! I need to split some logs in the field where I keep my wood. I have a small 6 ton handy splitter and don't have the funds for a petrol splitter yet. I have a 2kva generator, will it run the 2000w motor on the splitter? I'm pretty sure it won't but thought I would ask before I drag it all up to the field!
  5. Thanks Jon! Would have been an ideal machine but my budget is only around £600 due to buying a trailer!
  6. Sweet. Apparently the splitting beam is only 45cm off the ground, seemed quite low to me!?
  7. Thanks mate! The only issue I can see is the height of it but hopefully I can sort that!
  8. Anyone have any experience of the rock 12 ton petrol log splitter? I know their 22 ton machine has a good reputation but it's out of my price range. The 12 ton looks ok but it's only about 18" off the ground so might mount it on a small trailer chassis to make it a more comfortable working height. Anyone used one? Can't find a video of it working.
  9. Sweet, can I have first refusal on both?
  10. Finally got me p7! Still on the hunt for a splitter........!
  11. Like I said I have no idea what it's worth, it's not my machine!
  12. She wants £34,000! It was her husbands machine but he passed away. I have no idea if that's a good price or not!
  13. I know of someone selling a 7015 if your interested?
  14. Machine Mart machine looks ok but very low to the ground, might get backache using it for any considerable time!? The rock 12 ton is about £200 more but higher off the ground, Briggs engine and full spares backup!
  15. Think the lawnflite splitter has a briggs engine instead of the "chonda" one on the titan pro, might be worth going for the lawnflite as its a better engine! I'm considering one, toss up between that or the 12 ton rock machinery one!
  16. Cheers guys! It's either this kind of set up or a 7 ton lawnflite jobbie so even at 7 tons it's prob a better option!
  17. Hi, I'm looking at buying a 3 point linkage splitter and running it off a job beaver hyd power pack, the pump on the powerpack says 125bar, will this run a 12 ton 3 point linkage splitter? Also will it plug straight into the powerpack or will it need different couplings?
  18. Either depending on price! Lol!
  19. The vertical lawnflite looks favorite at the mo, will leave funds for a trailer! Anyone had any experience of the 7 ton lawnflite?
  20. Very tempted to get a ifor williams p7 and a splitter to go in it as you suggested!
  21. Thanks mate, much appreciated!
  22. Hiya mate! Did you manage to have a word with him?
