  1. Says 4500A, might just be a model number.....elecrtickery ain't my forte!
  2. Come across a "promax" 4500amp, 4.2kva generator for £295. Second hand but that should run my 2200w log splitter ok!?
  3. Hi mate, not got one yet! Budget is around £700 now due to buying a trailer!
  4. Don't look like it! Still on the hunt........!
  5. Maybe a screw splitter would be the answer then!
  6. Must be hyd take offs somewhere as you can fit a loader to it and the lift arms are hyd?!
  7. Anyone got a kubota b7000? Might know where there is one fir sale locally! Apparently I would have to fit hyd take off ports on the back of it to run a log splitter?!
  8. I have one and it's ok! Think the anvil gap needs making smaller as it bogs down quite easily, might be because I have the 14hp version though! I had the same idea of winching it into the back of my Hilux but gave up as the machine is very heavy for its size and because of the front "foot" of the machine it can't really be done on your own as the foot will be between the ramps, even if you put a ramp in the middle for the foot to ride up you still can't do it as the rubber stopper on the bottom of the foot digs in! I bought a roller trailer for mine but ended up with an ifor williams p7 to put it in as gives you more room for chip or logs etc!
  9. Any pics mate? What kinda price you looking for?

    Log storing

I just built one out of pallets, knocked some round posts in the ground and dropped the pallets over them to build the walls. Lay some pallets on the ground and away you go!
  11. I've been after some ibc cages for a while but living in Cornwall means there are never any local and transport costs kill it!
  12. Nice! What model is it? What's on the back of it mate?
  13. Sweet. Just curious about the older / cheaper ones as if I were to invest in one it would be handy to run a log splitter off of it:)
  14. Prob a stupid question but I take it there are hydraulic take offs on the rear of these tractors?
  15. Nice machine mate! Seriously considering getting one!
  16. Hiya! Pondering getting a compact tractor for yard duties, log splitting and using on small scale site clearance, flail, rotovator etc! Just wondering the cost effectiveness of one, show us yours in action!!!
