  2. Cheers mate, Chopped out the worst section and cut another piece to fit. Glued with polyurethane expanding glue and drilled and pegged in place with hand made oak dowels. Stihl still won't let you buy on line for delivery but if you go for husqvarna you can buy from one of arbtalks sponsors and have it delivered :-) Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  12. I've only had experience with stihl so here's my offerings. ms200/201 with 12" dime tip 024/026 or new ms241/261 with either 14 to 18" quarter tip or toonie bar Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. Hi Derek, I meant to reply on the carving forum the other day. What is your budget? I would always try for a pro saw, even second hand rather than a home owner class of saw. They are nicer to use all day long have more power to weight and you can always get parts when you need them. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  14. Meteor non OEM pistons are now supplying cylinders as a kit. You may be able to get one for the ms241. Have a look on eBay, I was looking at one for an 036 and it was under £70 Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app

  24. AIR with artists newsletter offers insurance at a great price but won't cover you for tree work sadly. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
