  2. At the end of the day it's a medal for serving some time in the public sector. I got a medal for six months in kosova but it doesn't mean much as I was just doing my job. I can't see it being any different to some one selling there grandads medals from ww1/ww2 or the the poor ex forces guys selling there's
  3. I've just got my 261 back also as it was in for the same for the second time. Think they even changed out most of the clutch and have changed the sprocket this time to. I think you should have a twelve month warranty on the parts changed. The wife fired of a snotty letter to stihl uk and was told we've no chance of a refund but they are aware of a few saws with problems and will sort them under guaranty as and when they occur. Not much help tho if you ask me

  9. Hi spud it's a partner 465. The chain brake handle feels like it's clicking on properly so makes me think it's the band that's gone. Any help appreciated

  12. Spud just a quick question I've got an old partner saw I'm needing to sort so I can give to my mate as a firewood saw but think it needs a new brake band any ideas on the best place to source one?

    Wow that's food for thought. Might have to get an appointment tomorrow as it's a local holiday up here and I feel rough as and can hardly speak and not eaten for a few days now

  19. After you have been woken up try calling him back and see how long it takes him to answer or see how tired he sounds but remember and with hold your no. But as you say revenge is a dish best served cold.

    Think I've got a bad case of man flu:embarassed: and it's knocked me for six. Any ideas on the best way to get rid of it? Il await the advice and the man ups lol:nurse:
  21. If I'm thinking of the same guy he used to do a video chart or some thing and I couldntstand him on that. Think he is on radio Scotland to so worth finding out when so you can avoid him

  24. Ah well if it gets sorted it's going on the bay I think and then I can give FR jones some money as it seems to be a lot better service to what I'm getting up here. And his prices are keen to:thumbup:
