  1. I know a man selling an 08 plate 90 defender if that's of any use to you? It's a nice clean motor with mts on it and a few other bits
  2. If you pilot them first it should stop the tounge splitting. Might be worth buying a box and having a play with them if I remember right the last section by the head is a reverse thread to pull every thing together tight
  3. If your going to screw them down have a look for tounge tight screws I think there called. Not used them myself but have heard good reviews
  4. never said your old but you could be the young adoptive dad:thumbup: wouldn't say no to both of them as would make some jobs so much easier

    nail gun gas

Just be careful with the cheap nails as the gas is not the same think paslode gas has a lubricant in it. When I work as a joiner on the big sites they bought pallets of the cheaper nails but soon switched back to paslode as so many guns were going down with problems. Some people say it makes no difference but when you have to buy the machine yourself you look after them better so I never use cheap nails
  6. Very nice how did you know what was on my wish list:thumbup: don't suppose your looking for an older adoptive son:dontknow:
  7. Think it's a 448 or along that line. It's not a top of the range one as things were tight when I had to buy it but it's worked hard and earnt plenty of money
  8. Guess I must be lucky with my Viking as not had any problems with it and it gets used most days during the season. At least with the plastic deck you know it's not going to rust away and makes it a bit lighter as well. I'm guessing the ones your getting in to sort are used by people who don't have to buy them so don't really look after them:thumbdown:
  9. Choke on decomp in and prime it a few times pull it over till it farts then knock the choke of and decomp again and away you go. If hot decomp choke on then of prime and pull away but the destruction manual will tell you all about it
  10. Your right they are part of stihl. I work one of there mowers and it has worked hard for a living but still got a few seasons left in it yet but if money were no object I would get a Honda
  11. Snap the same here:thumbdown: got a feeling it's going to be slippery in the morning
  12. A bit late to reply but the roads are clear just now even tho the snow is back on. If your on Facebook have a look at the Grampian police page as there giving regular updates on the roads
  13. How do the straps tighten are they on a buckle? If so think we used to feed the loose end back on it's self though the buckle. Hope this makes some sense
  14. Just use jewsons own brand blue barrow and they seem to hold up well and only cost £30 something
