  1. If you have a local crate manufactur nearby as they should have loads and there normally just heat treated so should be fine to burn. Hope that helps

  6. I remember that as its not to far away from me think it needed a bit of common sense if the rope isn't long enough get a longer bit. But appreciate what your saying about it being dodgy sometimes

  9. Cheers Dean it's a new 4 stroke flymo with the 5.5 hp Honda engine I think. Will have a look at the book that came with it and find out we're the sump is hopefully its at the bottom and all will be good. Only reason I bought it is for doing banks as the older guy that gives us a hand struggles with the brush cutter on them and reckons the hover mower is the answer even tho it provides hours of amusement watching him slip about:blushing:

  11. Hi thanks for getting back to us thats the idea to use a rope but it goes through these rings so that the deadmans handle still works if it runs away.

  17. As above really I've bought a flymo for doing some steep bankings. I've seen the rings that you drill a hole into the handle frame then bolt it on so you can clip on your rope. So the main question is does any one know where to buy them from as I'm not having much luck finding them.
  18. Have a look on Axminster power tools site I think they also do reconditioned machines to and there prices are ment to be keen. Will give you a shout later on as need to ask a favour
