  2. Price it by the job as you can cut a lot in an hour also are you using a push mower or a ride on? Are you leaving the clippings on site or taking them away? Sorry there's more questions than answers
  3. Well that's the ride on fixed tried to drop the deck to make it easier to line up the blades but its a right faff to access the bolts. So bIned that idea and then tried to remove the belt cover but you need the deck of to remove that:confused1: thankfully after a few scraped knuckles i spoted the tensioner for the timing belt so slackened that of and got them lined up:thumbup: think I will put it into the repair shop to get the blades changed as they look shot and I've not got much skin left on my knuckles:lol:
  4. Spot on il see how I get on with my local lot but don't be surprised if I give you a shout
  5. I think the timing belt has slipped and caused them to hit guess hitting the stick that was buried didn't really help maters:blushing: had a quick look earlier and the pegs might be snapped as there not lined up square to the blade. Do you do spares for the snapper as my local place arnt known for being the cheapest or quickest at getting parts

  9. Cheers rich I used my poor mans 2 post ramp the skids on the trailer:001_rolleyes: hopefully its just needing the blades rest and il get some new ones ordered up as I need it working for next week
  10. Just the two blades looking at it they have slipped and knocked hell out of each other tried to slacken of the belt to move them so think its of with the covers:sneaky2: you might regret saying to give you a bell:lol:
  11. Got to sort out my ride on mower this weekend as it hit something in long grass yesterday so the blades are now hitting each other. Any advice welcomed oh nearly forgot to say its a snapper
  12. Think there's been a thread on this before worth a search to give it a read
  13. Have a look at the husky 323r I've just bought another one and it can be used with a blade as it comes with one
  14. I've had to get the joinery tools out the past few months but only at weekends to help out an old friend. But it's good to remind yourself I can still do it
  15. Looks lovely you have got some skills to be proud of
  16. Cheers for the reply I will have to find a water tight box to store it in and give it a bash:thumbup1:
  17. That's fine saying that but after doing a good shift on a heavy machine youl feel it that's why I go for a light machine as end up getting more done due to les fatigue. Think I'm going to end up with another 323r11. Barrie how does keeping the nylon in water help?.
  18. It was a few years ago I used them but they did a good job. Seems a strange company for them to buy I though they were just sparks and plumbers:blushing: shows what I know after leaving the building game
  19. There's a company in Aberdeen think there called aberdeen radiators ltd I used them before to recon my old L200 rad. But I think they also custom make as well. Might be worth a phone call

  21. Just seen the price of the fs460:001_huh: might just go for the husky 323r11
