  3. The ones I'm looking at have no chainsaw protection there just hi vis rain wear for when I'm doing forestry or the odd wet days grass cutting. The only stupid question is the one you don't ask:thumbup1:

Any one else had the day from hell sent to try you:thumbdown: started of with the mower blades needing to be re aligned then the drive belt snapped on it:sneaky2: so had to strim the rest of the job thats when the fuel spout on the combi can decided to break:cursing: and to top the day of a stone got flung out from the flymo and shattered a car window about 15 mtr away:crying: couldn't find the owner so just had to leave my details and await an angry phone call:jumping38:

  9. Looking for a new waterproof and narrowed it down to two. So any thoughts on the stihl rain tec or the harkie smock?

  12. I would have said it was a lot older than 2 years guess it goes to show why you should look after your gear

  17. That's cool if I can find a pic of what she wants il send it on to you and see what we can do. Yes up on the Friday and back on the Monday il just be sharpening my mates saws but will be good to see all the carving going on
  18. Il second that I use a Viking and cant fault it. It's out about 2 days a week and only cost me an air filter and a blade in 2 seasons. It's not a big pro machine I have think its the 4 series but hasn't let me down and would definitely buy another one:thumbup1:
  19. Very tidy mate. Do you ever do spalted bowls and stuff like that? As its my 5 year wedding anerversy next month so needs to be wood (so I'm told). Are you going to carve carrbridge ?
  20. I have the engelbert Strauss ones and there a good fit and have zipper vents in the back and only cost a £100 I think

  24. I bought a 261 toolles easy start before I knew any better and it came with an 18 inch bar. Used it for a fair while and not had any trouble with it but changed to a 15 and its a lot faster.
