  1. That's what I was running on mine for over a year using 3/8 chain and never had any problems with it
  2. What model did they quote you on? As the one they quoted me for was the pull start one
  3. Has any one any idea on the sizes of these two machines? Spoke to a localish dealer today an can get the cs100 for £4500inc vat. How long on average do the blades last between sharpening? Sorry for all the questions

  6. I've not seen the size difference between them but am thinking of mounting a small 12v winch to the trailer to help load unload it. Any idea when your going to trail them? Would be interested in hearing your thoughts
  7. I'm now at the stage of being ready to buy a chipper I think a wee chipper will suit my needs best. So I've narrowed it down to either a cs100 as heard lots of good things about them but also giving the bandit 490xp drum chipper some thought. Has any one used the bandit if so how does it handle stuff? Any ideas on the prices?

  13. Hi I'm looking to try and grow my business this year and as I already do some grass cutting during the season I'm thinking we would be able to handle some bigger jobs. Has any one any advice on how to go about getting in to bigger company's ect? Look forward to hearing any helpfull advice
  14. I'd try and go down the unfit for purpose route. Would be worth a chat to your local citizen advice center and see what they can do for you
  15. If your stuck you could give James Aiken sheet metal a call in Aberdeen as I think they do specialist welding
  16. Funny this thread should appear again as we were speaking about it today. I tried taking a feed from the reverse light and earthing it of the trailer chassis but it didn't work so I'm going with the feed of the fog lights and a switch. Good idea on the fog lights Steve will also give that a try tomorrow night.
  17. For machines il buy local yes there more expensive but they are there when I need them be it at 7 in the morning or 6 at night so I think it's worth it as your not just buying a machine your buying a service. Just my thoughts and I'm sure il be wrong in some peoples eyes

  20. As above really just like to say thanks to Barrie for donating the prize of a blower to the raffle and the quick service of getting it posted to me. Also he pm'ed me to say that he had no stock left so I had been upgraded to the next model:thumbup1: not had a chance yet to use it but il let you all know how it goes
