1.
That's fine Steve it's good there is such a backlog as it means more money for the charity

2. Oops didn't mean yours pete as never saw your post:blushing: but it's a cracking looking beast
3. I agree let's sort out our own country out first and help our own folk to work as in here is a job @ x amount an hour if you don't take it your benefits get stopped. I'm sure we never had a problem filling jobs before as there wasn't the cheaper option of saying we will pay crap money and expect a Latvian pole ect to do it. I'm ready to take cover now
4. Tidy looking motor love the go faster checkering
5.
Hi steve just a quick one I bought some tickets on Saturday but not received raffle nos just wondering if there is a big back log? All the best Guss

8. Very true I was to young to know anything about that I just thought there was little work over here because of the unions striking and there was a shortage of builders over there but the money being good would also help
9. Are you in the Aberdeen area? If so il have to keep an eye out for you as I'm sure there's not many yellow 110s going about. You still got the light bar with BAA stuck over it:laugh1:
10. Think that's a bit strong really. How can you say that people who are trying to tell it how it is are all racest/BNP voting people. You see the threads about we don't charge enough ect but how can you up your prices when your up against people who will do a job for next to nothing. I worked with a pole and he says the money here is so much better than back home even working for min wage
11. I think that's unfair to say that a brickie still does an apprenticeship the same as a sparkie or joiner ect and supplies there own tools even if there on the books with a firm. It could be argued that if you work on the books as a groundie/climber you only need a car but if self employed or run your own company you are better because you have all your own gear. The foreign nationals get taught a little of all trades at school and they then class themselfs as a joiner or what ever takes there fancy that week. I'm a joiner to trade and have seen the mess they have left behind and class it as a good job here's a nice example of one of many I've seen and had to sort. Working on a new night club and he is told to go and straighten/pack out a stud wall then sheet it. Do you A: use a nice metal straight edge of which there were a few knocking about or B: just pick up a length of inch and have PVC waste pipe which isn't known for it's straight edge properties. Il let you guess what he choose and he was still trying to work out what to do 5 hours later on a wall only about 4 mtrs long. This should have taken an hour or two tops. But I have also seen some decent work but it's few and far between
12. You just need to look at how it's affected the building trade and the good skilled tradesmen that it's put out of work
13. Spoke to my neighbour and it's cider vinegar he also said to try putting golf Balls in the trough as they will move about so should also prevent it freezing over
14. First Batch bought. Keep up the good work and a big thanks to Steve and the sponsors
15. Good stuff mate fingers crossed and all the best for finding work I'm sure something will come your way
16. Cheers for the help rich il have to pm the boss
17. If you get on the books with a firm I'd say there's no rush to buy all the gear in one hit just build it up as you go. Did your resettlement cover all your courses? I never got any but got let away a few months early
18. Just comes up with this Or I'm just being mega thick
19. I tried that but it wouldn't give me the option to go into my pics would only let me post a link to a hosting site and I don't have one or know how to do that:001_huh:
