  1. How much would you expect to get paid for having the tickets you had? Did you have any experience?
  2. What about any wildlife that lives in open moorland? Or the lowlands you're planning to plant?
  3. What's next? Stop teaching kids with learning disabilities as they don't contribute much? Did you not suggest planting the uplands in Sitka Spruce? Maybe you should go back to school if that's what you think is good idea.
  4. She's only 7 so give her time. Wouldn't be more useful if she stayed in Wales or Ireland.
  5. I think learning more than one language helps with others. My daughter has been learning Welsh 4 years and is now fluent. She also can speak basic Spanish as well as some Irish. Learning Welsh has definitely made it easier for her to pick up other languages. To Welsh/Irish/Gaelic speakers it's important culturally to keep the language alive. What's your criteria for keeping a language alive?
  6. Are you in North Wales?
  7. We all could do with money from working but surely its best to do what's recommended. I think it's selfish to risk yourself and the wider public for the sake of a few trees.
  8. Migration to UK from outside EU hits record level WWW.GOOGLE.COM Migration to the UK from outside the European Union hit record...
  9. I find it backward that my kids who were born here and have british passports could never become head of state. Purely down to their birth.
  10. I've seen a Peuguot Partner ATV/4 x 4 for sale. Are they any good? Would it go offroad at all? Tow a chipper?
  11. Seen one lad today climbing with a bowsaw his 'groundsman' doing a great job without a helmet. Yesterday was a different clown up in a MEWP with no helmet. Surely they would be more worthy of the hse' attention?
  12. Thats a load of shite blaming sparrowhawks for the demise of small birds. Its modern intensive farming more than anything. Do you work for the NFU? Happy Christmas!
  13. Bought myself 8 books and the new hitchclimber pulley.
  14. Yep, 20% acetic acid mixed with a cup of epsom salts and 10 ltrs of water with a dash of dish washing liquid to get it to stick, have been using it as an alternative to glyphosphate for two growing seasons now. Both around home and for a small number of clients. Works well, kills broadleaf weeds effectively but I find grass comes back a bit faster than if sprayed with roundup or other 360ppm glyphosphate weed killers. Still prefer to give a second spray with vinegar than use glyphosphate once. Nasty stuff. For around food crops we use oscillating hoes. Very efficient and easy to handle tools. How much acid per 10l of water? Its mainly small weeds between slabs.
  15. Anyone used vinegar? Specifically 10-20% acetic acid?
  16. Base for access, canopy for working. Use an alpine butterfly with a rigging ring
  17. Scomo on his way home! According to The Australian its all natural. No climate change no siree.....
  18. At least Scott Morrison is there to help. Oh wait.......
