I don't know if the population will slow really that quickly. In places like Western Europe due to the aging population and fewer people of working age immigration will have to rise because someone will need to pay for the retired. As people round the world become in general better off the strain on resources will become greater which may lead to worse environmental problems even with a smaller population. Sent using My c
