  21. Took down this horse chestnut today wasn't too big but was wet and windy. It didn't help that we were in London last night and didn't get home til half 2 so it took a bit longer that I hoped! Sent using My c

  23. Few pics of a big beech we done over the last few days. It was over 70 feet tall I'd say. It had been heavily reduced about 12 years ago so the top consisted of loads of spindly poles growing from some decaying old cuts. There was a fair few old ganoderma fruiting bodies round the base so didn't want to lower massive pieces at once. Got it down to around 30 feet and then pulled it over with the defender.
