  1. Exactly, being in construction my arsenal of battery powered cutters is pretty good and reasonably quiet too. Don't matter how good a lock is takes moments to cut it. I reckon the best bet is lots of smaller locks on a couple of gates, but I keep all my equipment near me, so I can keep it safer than any lock.
  2. How about, you lock your stuff up with one, and whatever I can recover in 5 mins is mine. Only question is, who shells out the cash for the lock.
  3. As above, where is it, when was it milled, how much you want for it. Thanks James
  4. Reckon id get through them in under 5 mins.
  5. Slightly jealous of your challenge I must say, what u going to cut it with?
  6. Lived in Thailand for 2 years, you won't regret it pat.
  7. Don't forget the pics of the finished project, Thanks James
  8. Almost made me cry.
  9. My old gaffer was top, always a yearly trip out and a monkey in the ass pocket every year at Christmas.
  10. Get miling then bud.
  11. I need a friend with a boat!
  12. Too right Jon, try taking few limes, chilli , salt and pepper along and make ceviche. Just soak the raw mackrel, skinned and sliced in seasoned lime juice and chilli till it looks cooked. No need for bbq and delicious with salad and bread.
  13. Caught a massive ray last boat trip I did. Caught a few small bass on beach but only ever 1 keeper.no shame in a bream, a very underated fish that imo eats as well as a bass. My favourite fish to eat is fresh mackrel. Love casting with feathers when there running. It can get so frantic you can fill a bucket in a hour!
  14. Love beach casting, but live as far away from sea as poss in UK.(minus 5 miles). Because of this all my gear is telescopic. 3 rods and a rod stand fit nicely on parcel shelf and small tool box for tackle in footwell of my son. Makes it alot easier to take on family holiday or work trip. Didn't pay a fortune for gear, last time fishing I was next to a flash harry with lovely gear, bite alarms everything shiny, he never caught a thing, I caught a bass(too small to keep) 2 mackrel, 1 plaice and a dab. Made me smile. Echo other post expect to lose gear, always research good spots, and best local bait shop, always find them most helpful. James
  15. Not familiar with the 070, but what in the photos gives it away as a fake?
  16. Couple of fans same end as heat source, dehumidification the other, cant see why it wouldn't work if you got temp and airflow correct.
  17. If you get into it mate, you will spend a small fortune on tools, it never really stops, always something new you will want. Bought myself a 2nd fix gas nailer this week, wanted one for a while, fitting oak skirtings etc most of this week, so thought it was a good time.
  18. Probably if you could dry it succsesfully, how big is it?
  19. No expert, but guess a sauna would be too humid, whatever you would need to regulate heat well, have plenty of airflow, and good dehumidification.
  20. Best site I've found for tutorials on achievable beginners and intermidiate projects is the wood whisperer. http://www.thewoodwhisperer.com/videos/. Try some of them, he makes good videos and explains things well.
  21. First thing springs to my mind is a bird bath, nice flat cut on bottom, sand up, rout out a hole to take suitable dish sink in ground and your away, oh yeah don't forget loads of oil on the top and creosote on the part sunk in ground. James
  22. You should keep them for your new found hobby, countless things you can do with burr like that. Make sure there dry(3+ years covered in wax should do it). Then turn them into something. Coasters, tea light holder, incense stick holders. One piece photo frames, inlay for larger project, knife handles to nane a few.
  23. Same as that.
  24. What happened to the footing(foot in)?
  25. Best site for true price of woodland I know of is john clegg. Not corporate reseller like those above, just an agent.
