  1. ok the one i just did now seems to be working i think but says "pending" while the first one i did is active but with nothing written i think:blushing:
  2. it was written like 2 minutes before i posted but i will try again anyway cos human error on my part could well be the cause:blushing:
  3. I hear what you are saying and understand because i drink all coffee if its on offer:thumbup1: The thing i dont like is these companies selling what they call expresso or capuccino etc when it just isnt. If you want to know what they are supposed to taste, look and feel like then the only place that does it right that i have found is Italy, they did invent these tipples after all. Only place here that i would say does a proper coffee is a little place called artisan roast here in edinburgh on broughton street but they could do with learning some speed barista skills cos you need to wait for it zzzzzzz. In Italy the word coffee is hardly out your mouth and its sitting in front of you:thumbup:
  4. i filled in all the info but i dont see anything i wrote???
  5. oh yea that too:thumbup1:
  6. is the lime braced? cant quite make out whats going on there. thats a big hole!
  7. As David said, have you any qualifications? probably people thought you dont have any and thats why nobody took your offer. They cant take you on even free of charge if you dont have any CS units relevant to the work, so thats probably why you didnt get any interest. If its a mocking you want then thats no bother to many on here:laugh1: I could even dish out a second hand slagging if you needed:001_tt2:
  8. Guess thats a no mate, i still have a dumb phone so i cant help.
  9. coffee is bitter mate, you just gotta kill the bitterness with a ton of sugar. You are right about the coffee chains though, that is just muck and like i said before, they should learn their trade before selling the crap:thumbdown:
  10. if i had a kid i would buy one, for the kid obviously:001_rolleyes:
  11. I have been following this thread and the other couple you started for the same job and i am amazed nobody has snapped up the offer especially seeing all the people asking for jobs:confused1: I am not even a year back from Italy and i am very tempted to take up the offer but i am wanting to give Edinburgh a chance first plus i would need to find the good lady a job too. Maybe there just isnt that many serious enough about finding work. If your sitting there with no ties then what you waiting for? even just for the experience alone its worth it:thumbup1:
  12. haha yea well if you ask for milk then thats what you get:lol: If you just ask for a coffee out there you will get an expresso as standard. If you complain and say i wanted a nescafe with milk and 2 you will be lucky if you only get thrown out the shop:001_tongue:
  13. banana and peanut butter sandwiches will rock your boat gents, other than that eat healthy and have a good breakfast to set you up for the day. Oh and plenty coffee:blushing:
  14. got my coffee addiction while i was living in Rome and now i cant get out the house till i have had my expresso. The coffee here in britain is rubbish and nobody knows how to do an expresso properly, and the foam on a cappucino??? what the hell is that all about? I think anyone selling coffee as a beverage should be sent to Italy to find out how its supposed to be done before serving the crap we get here. Learn your trade coffee shops like everyone else has to... wow that turned into a rant:001_huh: must need a coffee:001_rolleyes:
  15. :lol:the funniest bit was the lack of denials there:lol: and yea Gerrit pot and kettle i cant deny either
  16. Nice one David
  17. Here is your typical farmland tree food:sneaky2:
  18. Broken wire maybe?
  19. What Gerrit means is go back in a day or 2 and get more pics, pick it and get photos of the underside as well then post it here again. Maybe a photo or 2 of the tree might help as well. The more photographic evidence you have, the easier it is for the fungi nutters to identify it and give you an accurate description of whats going on:thumbup: Sorry for the fungi nutters comment but you are all crazy
  20. yea you hardly ever hear of an american cutting themselves with a saw, cos they are all like superman with skin of steel:001_rolleyes:
  21. yea wire is the norm on farmland trees
  22. Nice tidy job:thumbup1:
  23. I need to brush up on my technical terms Just thinking that the husky strimmers i have used had the locking hole on the top side of the head, so the opposite side from your photo. Hope you get it sorted
  24. not the silver part, if you look at where the shaft goes its like 3 different sized disks, The outer one being the one i can see a hole in the picture. if you stick a slim screwdriver through that hole from the outside then spin the head till you find the other hole on one of the other disk shaped parts. If thats not it then i dont know.
  25. yes but the locking is done inside the head with the pin or thin screwdriver. Is there no hole on the side of the inner head at all?
