  1. If the fall somewhere between hi flex and strechair as far as fit lightness and druability then they should make a nice. Trouser
  2. It is a shame the dont ... i dont think these saw should have been destroyed but given to them with no fixed abode would. Keep the nubers down lol
  3. Are they 3 way locking ? Button one . Button two . Open gate . Admitedly not the safest locking gate i wouldent mind a caprive one for my lanyard
  4. The black filter came on my 550 was unawhere the yellow fillter was a larger grade mesh i asumed it was A finer grade.
  5. Got ann email promoting thease a cople of weeks ago they look a lot like hi flex to me Is it just a rebrand ? would be woth a look if there more durable but fit silmler to hi flex
  6. I have the black filter on our 550 xp and habe only ever had a little dust res on intake its been in use. Over a year and a half

  8. Manny factors i useto have a similer strimmer laying around i could have made an comparesent and worked it with neat petrol in . I would think it would knock a good chunk off survival time
  9. That is interesteng and quite impressive to beaing a domestic model . Just a thought it may not have scord as much as it was at full revs constant maby as slower revs or intemitent revs would alow the piston and cylinder to bond slightly .
  10. I run the Non auto tune 576xp 2010 i would thought it wold be a non a/t got just as much poke as 385xp well near anuff and a tat lighter

  14. Yup like the two we run at the mo its been waiting for bits and and info from mewp uk agent whom has been no help at all finaly getting on the way now been sitting there for months. Cant wait. To work with it

  18. Just paid a visit to a.c.price today to see the companys new unit in progress . Tell you what i could be lost in that workshop for weeks playing with all the mechines in there .

  21. Seen sevral difrent User names with unrealisticly priced farm plant and looked into a mog had asked for a chassie number. And just go led on. Then i found out. It was in voses stock and it popes up on three difrent user names after that there every where little cogs
  22. Hope it works well for you mate we have had. The top handel brake on one of our seem a week point on the saw where the handle and carb housing meet Handle broke on starting and jamed throttle on full just a warning the part is only 12 quid so not to bad Ours are used on every job pritty much out of the mewp and quite often its the only saw used nice capable saw if used with care
  23. More than enuff mate. I only stiched mine as. It is cut down from a large sling. I would think yours would be stronger than the ones. I made

  25. No problem david. I had also stiched the strap together behind the screw for a little more pice of mind but it'ull be the washer squish provideing moast of the strength ill pop a pic up of it in a bit just made abother for. The new one yesterday
