  1. Hi there just whant to offer a service to other arborists/tree surgeons in and around southampton area. Save your self half a day ringing up trunks with several loads in a tipper. We have a unimog with crane 10m out reach and log bolster trailer. We are in southampton area, if we can reach it maby we can save you some time and money.   2. it is hevvy on the front when empty but the platform ant chip bin keep it fearely balanced but we have i think 50mm spring spacers on front still stable
  3. Yeah well (modestly) any one who runs one for a long piriod has to pick up a lot a bout them.pluss we have a u140l witch has the same chassie and some running gear but a 4l 4pot. I sed the same thing to my dad thiss morning when he got the email through. i will ave some picks up at some point

  5. all is good then yeah my dads idea alex price built up two of that set up mogs are the dogs nads do you whant to carry any chip on it im shure it,ull be not far off the weight limit as is but ive herd from alex aslong as your not towing too much the gearbox is ace on road the fibre glass in the booms are pron to uv damage dont know how long it will last has it got a loler ticket
  6. hi there the u100l is a 6.5 ton as far as im aware, but i doubt you could run a chipper of the pto with a sprinter engine there were mainly desinged to carry mower implaments the bucket will be ideal for you work buy the sounds of it. we run two mogs with platforms and front mounted chipers there good pices of kit if you whant a mounted chipper u140 is about as small as you can go we got our mogs from alex price he knows his stuff my boss / oldman mite be able to help you out
  7. from what i under stand duch elm desise is a betle that lays larve bitwee wood and bark between the boudery of live and dead wood. kills tree then buggers off.any fire will kill the bug off if the woods ash so it the bugs but so will chipping
  8. hey im in southampton i hope you havent loged it up my old man has got a woodmizer and a mog with log bolster tralor to move it if your intrested
  9. there just model numbers the 50,s and L,s are long wheel base all are the same with untill you put 24" wide wheels on moas of the chasies are the same just the dif between length the higher the number the heveyr weghted axles nd more power you get the powr increse is not consitant with the jump in the badge. we have a 1450 140l and 2150
