    If not skilled enough I agree. But did mine in just over 2 hours so cheap.

    If you look at the same thread I did mine at Christmas just dot welds and hit with hammer and chisel to free them.

    With a gross weight of only 5.5t and to carry 4_4.5t you will be lucky to get a trailer with unladen weight of 1_1.5t if fast tow.

    Up date on boot repair used CT1 adhesive and sealant, stuck sole back and then built up front with CT1 and scrim. Will give them a test tomorrow and see how they go.

    I run a timberwolf 150 so no feeding with machine, with loader bring to chipper and someone feeding by hand by the time loader is back all from before is chipped.

    You could also take pictures before removing old bearings for reference want give measurements but you will see what they were like.

    Rotator will make it heavier but is handy. The one on my Tobroco is handy in tight spaces.

    Why I asked if when chain moving was had a chatty noise on my 61 turned out to be bar plate ( thin plate which goes between bar and crankcase at bar mount) had got bent and was rubbing on chain rivets as chain went round.

    You forgot to say tie end of rope around your waist so as you run away tree is pulled.

    If tangled like you say no point in tring to fell unless you rope them with second person or machine you pull would be better then you could pull them free first before felling.

    A couple of months ago I was working alongside a Bateson trailer dealer and had a good look at some trailers well made and better finished then ifors.
