Here's how I fixed it

Got a ifor 8x5 tipper I use for wood chip on large jobs and log delivery's with mesh sides which I lined with alloy sheeting think it 2mm got fabrication company to cut it to size and bend a lip on the top edge, made flat squares to fix it to mesh and riveted along top edge. Been on trailer for must be 8_9 years know. Will post some pictures later. You could use 3mm stokboard.

I agree with what you say but, every AD plant is have maize carted in by tractors ran on red and running 12_14 hours a day which is not agricultural.

if you have pulled rope for years with tirfor and not snapped rope it machine operator that is the problem not understanding what tension to put on rope. -
What has engine come off may depend how it is set, I bought 1 that had been on cable winch had been converted to electric fuel shut off which was knackered had to make new leaver to bolt on to thread sticking out off governer box. Which model is yours.

Large Beech reduce in the last couple of days, did it 7 years ago because of decay in base and will probably be felled in 2-3 years time. Its a centre piece to the front drive and will be a shame when it has to come down.

Is it just me or is there a lot of them about, been working on a large Beech tree reduction and have been bitten many times little sods were more active this morning after a good downpour first thing this morning.

All ways check hire stuff when it turns up and if no good send it back, they soon get the message you take no crap.

Your problem is its a hire machine, seem many fitters at hire shops servicing chippers and they haven't got a clue what try to do.

Ditto,, I have a Tobroco Giant 204 all steel not plastic panels, Kirkland machinery had some deals on them when I last looked. My brother has driven both Avant and the Giant and says giant all day long for move ability. -

Dead willow today, had to get it done before field is ploughed. Tree was in small garden plot so felled out through hedge then winched but up bank and out on to field. To give you an idea of size the saw is a Husky 346xp with 16'' bar.

Went to use tractor with loader and bowdens cable decided to move ip and down but no loader movement turned out grub screw had come out because casement had crack so would not hold in thread. So came up with this to get me going again 4''nail and jubilee clip.

Ringing council is probably the worst thing you can do. If neighbour dose ring them and complain then they come out you could put it to them how else are you going to move it without cutting it up.
