  1. Second that, have one on land rover, but their winch's are slow. You will need to check line speed under load to get a winch that is fast enough.
  2. Essex Suffolk Boarder so a little to far for you I think.
  3. As a result of storm damage got a large cedar butt to sell for neighbour, it's 48'' butt end, 44'' top and 16ft long and clean. Right near road to hiab lift. Losted touch of merchants how would buy, anyone know of good buyers.
  4. Not got winch on chippers but have one on land rover fitted with remote, complete game changer when using on your own, if you need more slack it just push button and you got it.

  6. If it was repair right it should last a fair time. It's no good welding to thin metal.

  10. I've no idea. I bought a 5hp honda from a car boot sale years ago did the same, then replaced sensor and has ran OK for years. Would of thought the same on all Honda engines.
  11. Honda engine have oil level sensor they can play up. Maybe worth checking.
  12. Had a couple of bad patches on the hopper of mine, just cut out rot and welded new bit in. As said no problem for fabricator.
  13. Only parts available for jonesred saws are old stock, or you have got to use second hand. Jonesred 630 was a great saw of it's time logged tons of timber with one when I worked for someone,
  14. Get the odd person ask me about wood, and I am always happy for someone to take it.. Specially if it's willow.
  15. Then just cut it off with one cut, will make it easier next time.
  16. You need to find out from customer if it was do with MEWP which will answer your question
  17. I had similar troubles with a 362, turned out to be aly plate on clutch cover had got bent out when I cleaned it before re assemble. Got no idea what on clutch cover but it' may have a plastic chain guide attached by screw check that it's nor come loose.
  18. There must of been loads of trees in the storm of 1987 not replaced. If you don't tell them they will never know what happened.
  19. Are you talking about hand or powered.
  20. All electric so must be a fuse or relay some where.
  21. Once you get it to fit take it off and stick it in with epoxy glue also it will take up any bad shaping.
  22. You could try your local agricultural dealer, or even a old blacksmith. Quickest way to put a handle in anything is by using a small angle grinder with a 80 grit flap wheel in. If you have time to do it yourself just take you time it's not hard.
  23. If you had of tied top of bag and strapped them on you could of been OK. I got told by a retired police officer if they can pull any thing off truck or even move it with little effort you will get ticket for it, then they may take a closer look at truck and find everything else that may be wrong with it, as why he asked why you hot logs on truck.
