  1. Need to be dry and then leave for at least 2 months. If the ground has a high acid content they will rot quicker that's what we have found. If you are putting them in with tractor mounted thump they split more than soft wood.
  2. Seen an advert near me for that price, turn out there straight out of a wood green and they say they will be dry by winter You are saying to cheap but if he has done his maths and is making out of it good on him treating people to cheap heat but he may run out and there you go
  3. If It's trainer's you want Telegraph poles take some time to rot. Need to find good second hand ones with life left in them.

    Just got a second hand Husqvarna 353, going to put a new bar on it so my question is. Anyone run a Oregon Pro Lite Lo Pro15" which cuts a narrower kerf are they any good.
  5. Marker for runner to follow, different set of dots mean different things like turn left or right, stop turn round and straight on and they shout to each other which way there going. Had this a couple of summers ago at 10 one night:thumbdown: stop a pair of runner and asked them to be quite got a load of abuse from them so next time I saw the dots set out had some fun moved and re-aranged some of them haven't seen them again.

  9. Treated my self to a pair of light weight SIP trousers the other day, I'am a 34 waist but had to get a large which is up to 38 waist. Looked at lots of different trousers and desided to go SIP in the end in red bit bright though. Hope this helps.

Very intresting what you have said, can't make sense with law about Sprays and Eco plugs went to Agri store and saw eco plug for sale and asked about price they told me the price and how to use and that I could use them, I then said it would be work related and they said I would need a ticket to buy.
  11. Looked at the forecast for next week hot all week on Essex / Suffolk border. Got a hedge cutting job next two days on a very exposed site, and some felling and tidying after that.
  12. A farm near me they mow footpaths. Some how walks there dog covers crap up with a pile of grass cuttings, so when your walking along you see a pile of grass saw a child kick a pile one day and landed up with crap on shoe. Revenge would be burning paper on there door step.

  16. Got a 3120xp when that go's out it makes life a bit easier. Used it to day to trim conifer stump of which was in a corner with fencing both sides no other way of cutting it stump measured 32'' across.
  17. May be he had a accident with it, may be worth ringing some else that knows him and find out if he is still tredding earth.
  18. Not going day after day then. Had 1 about 4 years only problem so far was 1 of the front wheels fell off. Good point is the plastic box not cloth on most others.

  23. Timex expedition on my second in 15 years replaced strap with washable nylon one it did come undone the other day dropped about 40 foot lense first on to tarmac groundy picked it up one little make. Still working so must be a good watch.
  24. Husky 61 bought in 1987 use it to cut logs and go's out most days.
