  1. Hi Luigi, Is Dundee to far? Brett
  2. We did a year with them. Glad to be out of it and won't go back. Rates for grounds maint stuff is pathetic. They had me running all over pricing tree work that we were never awarded. The only big tree job we won was canceled the night before. We had 3 new area managers in the year and no one new what was happening. The whole thing felt like a shambles. I know another local to us who are in their second year and is their main income (grounds maint) and are looking for a way out. We did work on the Aberdeen bypass and we're short changed 7k by the company that contracted us in. GC put them under for 100k. There was nothing left for us once the liquidators devided up. 3. we use a torro dingo when occasion calls. in the right situation is an awesome bit of kit, really surprising what it can lift, really good access, low ground pressure, if you use boards on turning points leaves virtually no mess. terrible ground clearance (forget mud), only lifts to 2m and no reach.
  4. Just out of curiosity, how do you fill tires with water? Sent from my SM-J320FN using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. oh aye, and we had a new clutch on second service too. forgot about that.
  6. If you fill that box it won't tip. its a shame because they are cracking vans but the guys hate it because they have to shovel more than half out if they fill it. We will replace ours in 3 years and I will make sure I never have another ram like it on the tipper. Big mistake on my part. Sent from my SM-J320FN using Arbtalk mobile app
  7. Hope you don't have the crappy ingmex scissor ram. Sent from my SM-J320FN using Arbtalk mobile app
  8. thank you eddie, please excuse my ignorance, when you say "operating it prob 3 times above its rated cap..." how do you mean exactly? what sort of work would be pushing it past its capability. I want it mainly for cutting paths through gorse and small areas of scrub on site clearance jobs.

  11. Hey guys, I have a question. not digger related as such but digger attachment. My avant 635 is being delivered in the next few weeks and I want to fit it out with a flail / mulcher. i.e: http://www.exac-one.co.uk/files/Exac_Midi_Mower_Flyer_May_2016.pdf The avant has 66lpm flow rate, any reason why this shouldn't work? Anyone foresee problems?

    Eye 2 eye?

It might just be my eyes but that top knot looks wrong to me, double check your fishermans knot.
  21. so no one here runs an aftermarket flail on an avant?? I'm thinking along these lines, any issues that you can think of? http://www.approvedhydraulics.co.uk/images/stories/pdfs/TE60REV.pdf Exac-One Ltd - Mini Forest Mower
  22. The thought processes was to be able to grab vertical peices, like a selector grab on a 360. Unlikely to do this after looking into it. Big layout for an experiment.
  23. can anyone recomend a forestry mower / heavy flail to run on a 635 (66 lpm flow rate) .
  24. im at 14k and never experienced this.
