Just made it harder for myself really sticking up this thread everyone has got mixed reviews or everyone has had bad experience with one or the other? I do favour the Stanley a lot more, but now seeing the challenger and having read quite a great review on a couple of websites it really does sound appealing

The Italian hitch Or Munter hitch should not be used as a friction hitch mate its for belaying and ties nothing like a Blakes hitch! Or are you reffering to something else? -

Normally just coffee, I do how ever have a spider stove to cook soup and noodles ect with but yes vet important

I know of a climber doing a cat rescue he went to install his line with a throw line and knocked the cat out sending it hurdling to the floor.... The owner was not happy but it always has been a great beer story, don't think Greg is on here but I'm sure he still tells the tale of how he was cased from her house with the garden brush.....

Think I really might do mate, it's been bugging me ages if I should or not then when we spoke of them over Facebook I though why not but I'm still unsure...... I remember my dad having one like it and he never moaned....mind you he never really moaned about any cup of tea.....
