  15. Surely that's just a personnel opinion mate?? I could say the same thing about the throwpod!! Which I'm my opinion it's by far superior to any throw weight lol I do how ever Agree with Ross, the 8oz Harrison rockets are like little demons being fired from a magnum 45, extremely accurate even at 80ft. 16. Just a heads up guys, on site with a contractor today, working in a quite nursing home, they had a 550xp and a hand held blower stolen. Around about 1pm. A transit box van with ladders on the roof was seen along with a brief description of the driver who was wearing a tweed jacket and had black hair!! Not much to go I'm afraid to say!! First time I've been on site and this has happened in 17 years.. Gutted is an understatement Adam Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  17. Jeez! That's terrible mate, my kernmaster hasn't hardly any wear on it after nearly 2 years and that's using toothed ascenders day in day out!! Something's looks seriously wrong with that! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  18. Please wouldn't go a miss either Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  19. Why not use a winch and fell in the original direction mate? Kind of like you'd do with a hung up tree? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  20. Sink cut is a little low and I always find it safer to leave a little more holding wood at the back depending of the severity of the lean, this decreases the risk of the holding wood breaking off prematurely. Not a bad effort though mate Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  21. I've got a small video to put up soon from a couple years back, but it's a scary thought to think I did a whole crane job with the central pin missing out the cam of my Art rope guide I thought it had happened when retrieving it from taking out the last section but when I watched the footage back and see it missing when I put it in I went as white as a ghost!! Pulley saver for me hands down Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  22. Quick and easy way of isolating an anchor point Loving the feed back guys thanks for the interest I too share the same passion as Dan, I'll get my pictures maybe even a little video up tomorrow Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  23. I sure do mate, I couldn't even tell you the last time I used Ddrt to get down from a tree. I even used SRT up a 10/15ft sycamore the other week! I really can't see any disadvantages in the system anymore.. My mind set now is Every tree is an SRT tree Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  24. There's some great phone Apps out there, for iPhone and android. Suunto do I fantastic one but a little expensive. There is no better feeling than measuring by climbing though!! 50m tape is plenty for 90% of the Uks trees. Obviously time is the only issue doing it that way. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
