  3. nice off you i have thought of getting them to do it and give them a challage as they seem to have fixed prices and get good value for money
  4. thats what i thought if there was no distance to travel
  5. you could cut a 100m^2 (10m x10m) with a 53cm 20.9" mower in 2 minutes and 18seconds if you did not over lap and were not picking up as predestion mowers travel at around 5km/hr (1.4m/s) the same speed as an avarage human walking
  6. husky had something simular as a wedge that work of the saw
  7. i used the ag200 abd they were good i would oftern do 150 km in a morning on one when i was in aus they were well made
  8. you daugter ae done a brillent job and done you proud
  9. a blunt chain is a blunt chain but when you compaire the volume acutly cut you will find that a chisel it will go blunt quicker over time as it has a smaller leading edge and there for there is higer stress at this point so it will lead to it failing earlier than semi chisel and it is this point that dose the most work.
  10. ha that what i was thought you were doing and bring it in your self, i will most defiently get some as a bar and chain is cheaper than a bigger saw lol
  11. but your one of the very few that stock will stock it, in fact you stock a lot of the strange chains that most do not sell and are harder to track down ps what one are you getting JPX or JGX
  12. i would say that a the avaliblity of skip and semi skip chain is a huge factor in the equation as well as it not that easy to sorce here at all.
  13. the done side to full chisel is it blunts easier as you got a smaller leading edge on the cutter, but you have a faster cutting speed when compaired to semi chisel. this is why i like semi chisel as it is less prone to damage as it means less sharpining

  20. Charlieh well done for posting, this is type of video is so inportant as the risk from these desices/pests exctra to this county be it; Phytophthora ramorum, Asain longhorn beatle , just to name a few:thumbdown:, the damage they are doing / could do to this country is huge. and some would go as far to say that the P. ramorum is worse than Foot and Mouth as you can buy cows sheep exctra in easly but not trees and it takes years to be able harvest a crop, think how much the foot and mouth gets press coverage, and how it help the public under stand the problems and the risks it prosses to farmers, we have to the same and educatue the public with out this high profile help, be it dessices, non native (Allen) spiceses all ready here , a prime example is Austraila where they are very stricked on imports, and the public dont mind killing a kane toad as they know they helping, we need to do the same here, so be Proactive not Reactive as it will benifit not just you.
  21. if you got a only few to do a 44 gallon drum and turn and do half a of the post than take it out and put it in upside down, though 8' might just not work,
