  4. mdt i am suprised that you did not dung it first, but i need to sub soil mine this year and would love to plough it but a 4 faough reverable is a bit to big to use but will have to make do
  5. are you mad aberdeen to suffolk is aprox 500 miles and 8+ hours drive but it would be different it was 1000s tonnes but 25tonne i would hate to know the cost unless you can get a back load but it depend on the grade of the wood ps sowwork what is the timber acutly like size exctra
  6. Strathbogie saw services in huntly did but only in 205l drums and would only sell a full drum
  7. a nother point is if they are charging vat as you going to use it your self that it is 5% vat not the dreaded 20%

  13. you will have to weld a plate on cross member to reenforce the cross member before rewelding the lower bracket on but if posible make the same plate so it aslo renforces the oil tank pivot too. if there is room

  15. what annoys is that strathbogie saw services never stocked it 2 stroke aspen in the 5 litter drums when they were dealers so you have missed out on sales i was willing to try it but having to go well and truly out of my way to try to get it and then not be able to get it say it all, as we have no dealers in northern Ireland, 6 in Scotland and 9 in wales and the like of garden kit says he can not stock enough of it, for the ones in england are lucky as they are general relatively close to a dealer so all i can say is i am not going to actively try to get hold of it any more our 2 nearest dealers to home are 5hours and 6 hours trip away one way but if i if was easier to get hold of i would try it but why try it if i can not get hold of it so thats what puts me off and i would say lots of others, i really want to try it but cant get hold of it so there is no point marketing if you are missing a huge market area
  16. pictures would help as think i get what you mean and depending on access and how much it remaking is needed as this is will reflect the cost

  18. small forestry blocks we have i think mine would be aprox 100hp reverse drive shuttle gear box 500, 750 and 1000 pto speeds 80l/min hyd oil min excluding power steering needs good lights and mirrors good guarding front loader front link arms and pto for farm work air suspension seat air con no need for add blue 2.2m wide at most external PTO switch and link arm control i think tats it lol
  19. was looking at tractors too day at the royal north spring show and woundering if you were buying a tractor from new what would you want it to have for forestry work
