    ArbDogs? Pics!

A year and a bit since I got Sailor. Just look at the affectionate little love. Looking forward to a few hours from now, when, if last night is anything to go by, he’ll be up vomiting in several different corners of the sitting and dining rooms for me to seek out in the morning like a terrible reboot of the Crystal Maze.
  2. I hung onto an early job for too long. Massive relief eventually leaving. Pastures new.
  3. I can't believe that over half what I pay for a tank of fuel goes to the government to spend on things that I have no say in. That's disgusting.
  4. If it's important or necessary, it'll happen without forcibly allocated money. We're not going to agree. Get in the sea.
  5. Tell us about Tom and his beef.

Something I don't know enough about is the coal boats that sailed out of the Tyne, Wear and Tees. A mate often remarks on the dangerous condition in which many of them put to sea in the early era of collectivised insurance, where a boat owner would apparently make money whether the coal got to London or if they'd drowned by Whitby.
  7. I'll decide what a good use of my money is. And I'll decide who my enemy is. It's the people stealing my money in the first place and then it's you, happy to take it for whatever's fashionable this week.

Pigeons on one grab rail would have finished it. Madman.
  9. No. Mind me. It's my money you're spending on this.
  10. Improving flexibility before taking on the 73" challenge.
  11. This kind of bullshit takes people like stalkers out of stable, long term lifestyle jobs, often with a cottage etc and into your brave new world of fixed term dolescum work, which may or may not be here next year once the consultants have leached most of the funding out of whatever the charity is this week. Sod off.
  12. Oppressor.
  13. CAREFUL!
  14. So it's a jewish city is it?
  15. Safer than jewchokes.
  16. Quite.
  17. Hang on. The AWAH is Chinese too it seems. Suddenly it's not cheap. I am playing devil's advocate to an extent btw. China CAN make good stuff. And I do know you'd run a prussik above either. I'm not buying one though. Anyone who does that stupid thumbs up because they were told to would forge a material conformity certificate because they were told to.
  18. What's the point of them?
  19. It's not the same device though. It's a device made by people who don't care if it breaks and paralyses you.
  20. 30 feet (9 metres ish) was about the number I plucked out of the air for a size it might be worth putting a powered ascender on for (as a starting point at least - there are plenty of 150 foot trees where one wouldn't do you any good). I do get how it seems faffy and weak for trees that are only say 45 feet but we need to get into the habit of being lazier in this industry. Sod all this going home tired and not being able to pick up a pint without your forearms cramping. People should get back in the door with more energy than they had when they got to work and then use it to **************** the wife so she can't walk.
  21. Does that mean two stroke engine or two tonne pull?
  22. To send a message.
