  1. Do you have any normal-strength opinions about things or is it 100% throttle, 100% of the time?
  2. Meanwhile established contractors are firebombing each others' forwarders.
  3. Cheers. That is a stack height isn't it. Did the usefulness of dangling over stuff outweigh the obvious problems or the other way round?
  4. The mechanised arb/crossover perspective is 3m and be done with it. Asking arbs to roll out to 2.4, 4.8, 7.2, 9.6 etc is a recipe for disappointment. Can't speak for proper foresters. Not masochistic enough to be involved.
  5. One problem of knowing about assarting is that you want to find them and start bending reality in your head to do so (like I sort of did in the first post of this thread). Like this one from Maximus Ironthumper's latest video on youtube. Assart hedge or not?
  6. Familiarise yourselves with the hedge and ditch rule btw.
  7. Plus a pretty bloody obvious border so neighbours can’t nick any land.
  8. It’s not my usual game either. Just seemed like a good idea on the face of it. More security, more privacy, probably some drainage utility as well as fixing the beech problem.
  9. And a ditch and a rifle backstop. Great solution.
  10. No but I did enjoy downloading an app I don't need for the sensations.
  11. Inimitable, incommunicable, visceral.
  12. Cheers. I write the lyrics and most of the music.
  13. An utterly shameless plug, my band released an EP yesterday. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9EE0fOvfZlkJwdOiC3w-wQ https://prdbandofficial.bandcamp.com/album/parasites-ep https://open.spotify.com/album/181P90q5WFC70WsDAVr6vn
  14. Quietly knack it. In the extremely unlikely event it gets replaced, quietly knack that too.
  15. You know what else is a lovely sound. The iphone app store ding and vibration when you put your password in and get it right. Phones do loads of dings and vibrations but that's the best one by miles.
  16. I've asked this before and I'll ask again. Where did these weird shibboleths of Kubota come from? It's not a hard word. It's written on lots of things.
  17. It's only cork-sniffing because of the time of man though. I don't think it was long ago that this sort of sense and intuition was much more common. Or perhaps I have an idealised imagination of the past. Maybe people never noticed these things because they were sick of hedges, fields and general toiling and couldn't wait to get home for an ale and to hear about how the spinning jenny is coming along.

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
