  5. partner 33 something or other i was given and was complete junker on average i would say fix it 3 times to do one job i got so frustrated with it because of carb probbs i screwed the idle screw in because it wouldnt idle so set it at full throttle and lost my temper with it and lobbed it down the garden at full chat it landed blade first n dug itself into lawn burbling away then took a lump hammer to it to fix it propper never to let me down ever again etc i felt great afterwards there thats fixed it :angryfire:
  6. good thinking i built mine fixed wedge so the knotty grainy wood wont take control of the ram twisting/straining the machine as much well that how i done mine & it works fine through the twangy knarley tuff stuff anything really tuff gets the saw treatment to fit my fire seems to last longer on the fire too

  15. post him a letter with as agreed in last conversation via telephone on date blah blah that both partys agree to return all arb waste in full job done i use to deliver/hire waste skips out and it always worked when a turned up with a full 8 ton skip of shite ready to tip and if they wernt in it was tipped as agreed even when police came i told ,em that i would not be walking away with no moneys and next time they would have to be quick to come back as i will return the rubbish in full before they landed tyo stop me etc they always went inside to have a quite word with home owner and allways had a 110% response with all moneys i,ve blocked cars in drivways in the past and once burst front door of its hinges with the rubbish and busted up there flags with the weight of the wagon yes i know its not nice but when you,ve been given the run around for months and know they,ve been away on there 3rd holiday that year etc its takin the mick keep getting turned away he,s not in i will get him to ring you later or come back tomorrow we will have the money then etc ive taken builders cars n vans when ive found out there away on hols ( AGAIN !! ) etc fairy liquid up onto a car transporter just drag them on with a winch and stick a letter through door as agreed payment etc they then come running to you to pay etc and plod tells em its a civil matter etc as you have told them you have there goods etc good luck

  17. first it was a surgeon not a doctor also second all i did was use his advice and lost 8.6 stone it works period i did,nt come to any harm as my body used its own fat to cope with the less carbs i know you cant keep away from not eating carbs it just helps to quit while your getting you weight down once you hit you target just creep the carbs up a touch as your body will use its own fats to turn back into sugars/carbs etc you will see and feel loads better
  18. as you all know a suffer with moodswings depression etc and my weight is up down al over the place when i,am down i eat period but recently had a hernia operation and my surgeon told me to quit any carbs and the weight fell off i lost 8.6 stone yes 8.6 stone lol no bread no sugar in my tea no pop >> coke energy drinks a loaded with sugar around 6 to 8 tea spoons per can of coke be it diet or whatever there loaded with carbs and that the problem your body craves carbs for a quick sugar hit etc so quite the carbs rice spudz pasta pies and eat like a rabbit salads any meats fish chicken no probbs and your weight will fall off & its life changing you can bend climb walk breath better etc good luck and dont give in just watch what you stick in your gob no carbs job done

  20. aldi had,em a few years and everyone around me has borrowed them for there gardening etc always come back unbroken so i would guess they,ve been well abused and still work fine just a bit of grease on the roller bearing thingy in the middle once in a while
  21. i feel for everyone who,s ever had kit stolen its very distressing and breaks your will to carry on . Allso there must be a massive amount of stolen equipment on the roads of the uk now & at this rate more stolen chippers than legally owned chippers there must be an answer to all the havoc disruption cause by stolen gear maybe the manufactures can fit trackers as standerd unless its not in their interest to do so its seems a loosing battle against the villains thesedays. I do hope all of you one day get your goods back and the law deals with this massive problem

  23. i got plenty sawn off spanners to get around some of the jobs i,ve had to do in the past and recently even had to dig out some old whitworths to work on a petter ph1 for my mates sawbench a grumbly old liner saw all made of cast iron but i do have a few ww11 snapons all AF" from burtonwood airbase when the yanks was stationed there from aircraft tool kits they come in dead handy at times as there all shapes lol
  24. my first saw was a 038 i thought it was the re invention of the wheel etc as i was just getting into all this saw malarky for my firewood logburner etc but soon realised i only needed a little saw 024/260 etc and found the 038 heavy and juicy compared to my other saws so it now lives daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarn saaaaaarth ebay,ed off i,am afraid as its was just not the saw for me as this log burner lark has cost a small fortune to set up log store trailer fuel saws etc sorry i,am rambling again i,ll get my coat sorry
