  1. sorry spud your lucks out this time i dont' require you to do me a good service MEANWHILE i tried it last night one on top and one in the embers both worked out great wrapped in foil twice as stated.My dog had one too with Philadelphia garlic & herb and i had one plain old butter when down yummy for supper. My dog licked his bowl all round the kitchen wanting more.So yes go for it log burners make crackin jack spuds thanks for the replys & tip grateful men cheers
  2. how did you get on or was they burned out when you unfoiled them as i would of thought the foil would burn off etc ??
  3. i left orange and signed up with 02 but the land here is low lying so had probs dropped calls etc tried a booster and was no better so managed to get out the phone contract as it was'nt my fault etc so went back to orange but got a better deal with them this time please try and find out who owns your closest phone mast and then decide who to go with yeh!
  4. How or has anyone tried doing jacket spuds ontop of there woodstove does it work etc as i have two wrapped in foil on a trivet to try see if it will work ??
  5. nice one I had exactly the same problem i got mithered into buying a dyson or clowns hoover it was a load of rubbish had it repaired under warranty twice then 3rd time lobbed it in council skip that fixed it nice no more trouble haaaaaaaaa

  8. i think henry is classed as commercial grade vacuums workplace offices etc i had my henry for years you can buy ant parts for them not that you will need any
  9. i got chicken breast on the go with winter veg and half a bag of morrisons barleybroth soup mix its got chick peas lentils etc etc oh and dumplins it looks and tastes like a propper chicken broth all gloopy n thick like me just how i like it maybe a warm lump of french stick and butter with it tonight when its ready it should last me 3 days but then again visitors may get to it first as the house smells lovely now as its cookin slooooowly mouths watering as i type lol
  10. The only drawback is the controls are round the corner from the table! Doh!:001_huh good point confused why thats been done like that as it makes it a 2 man splitter to keep it going ps i really dont/hav'nt found the reason myself why the Chinese ones are rubbish has anyone got any horror stories to tell buying a 24/34 or whatever ton fast tow splitter chinese splitter theres every chance i'am wrong but the engine is not english i bet the steel is'nt english or the hydraulic pumps/valves arnt english either ??? are they. So how could it be english as in put a dog in a stable its still a dog not a horse etc

  13. your not on your own i bulk ordered 3 cases of 200 fat balls and the birds hav,nt bothered with them yet" there hell bent on the seed i had to top the bird table up this morn and this afternoon they love the seen atm

  16. I did,nt buy it new etc secondhand from ebay to use repairing my old valve radios etc . So would say look for one that does a variable speed thats if there is such one sold. only trying to help
  17. I have just tried a variac on my cheapo grinder and it worked out better than i thought i set mine running at 75 volts so it tickles the cutters up without bluing them The tip on dressing the stone with a diamond wheel worked a treat thanks for that grateful
  18. just buy whatever is the closest dealer to you spares/chains makes more sense than waiting for post man like i have too but i have a solorex
  19. Just been out jon 3 large mugs of wild bird food and six fat balls and cleared the leaves of the top of my water but as i got the gutter pipe off the garage roof washing fresh rainwater over a big plastic lid 1/2 inch deep 2ft round birds drink and bath in it and bring there young to it
  20. yes any tree/wood logs thats no good send it my way i'll burn it black moldy softwood any as long as its dry i burn it

  22. only problem might be the pedal it very light to operate so it'll make you foot ache holding off etc
