  1. That's why its called a partnership!. Thanks for sharing. Always better when the better half works in the trenches with Husband! easy-lift guy
  2. This is very interesting since the stories related read like something out of all creatures great and small TV series:thumbup1:. The more things change the more they stay the same. easy-lift guy
  3. Ok. Weather and climate is cyclical. 70% of the earths surface will not disappear due to man or anything else, real or imagined. Nature produces more chemicals and gasses from naturally occurring events like Volcanoes and other events that occur naturally and have been since before man to the present and beyond. For many reasons man will continue to exist and thrive if given the chance and left alone by government. easy-lift guy
  4. I was not implying that you lived in cave, however go ahead and try your suggestion of taxing fossil fuels to the hilt and you may very well be living in one sooner than you know. Continued taxation of existing technologies equals zero return for the companies actually creating new technologies in the first place. Fossil fuel companies that depend on consumers to purchase product at a fair market value are left paying more via punitive taxation which is passed back onto the consumer in the form of higher prices:thumbdown: The free market can and will decide the market for any product if allowed to do so with out additional government interference, regulation and taxation. I realize that the government of the UK through taxation pays for more social services than here in the US, however don't be led to believe that same government won't be willing to tax as much if not more if fossil fuels did not exist tomorrow. Just remember the government does not produce anything. The fact that it merely exist to support its employable staff and constiuants and at times provide a national defense force is the only reason for its existence. easy-lift guy
  5. Depends on the type of wood and purpose served. I use glue and screws more often than nails since nails commonly can and will do more damage than a screw. I still use a measuring tape as the final call, if I am not sure. easy-lift guy
  6. Do you think people that use no fossil fuel live in a cave or are they just visiting from another planet?. Skyhooks quote is very profound and spot on. easy-lift guy
  7. Here in the States we have these really clever devices called tape measures. Usually if one can measure the distance between the beginning and end of what is being nailed the right size nail or screw can be determined. easy-lift guy
  8. Very beautiful part of the world!. How thick is the ice, how much longer is your winter? easy-lift guy
  9. Translation, there are many more anal folks out on the loose round these parts than your neck of the woods. Masses of asses:thumbdown: easy-lift guy
  10. Please Darrin, spare the masses of asses here:confused1:. Laws with regard to riding a bicycle with a helmet, can't remember the last time I ever heard of a kid receiving a ticket much less a warning from the Police for being in violation! How about the idiots that will play chicken with other people on bicycle paths riding against the flow of traffic while going the wrong direction:thumbdown: " yield or die", comes to mind:sneaky2: I could give out citations all day long, would not matter a hill of beans. Kids on bikes for the majority of the time know everything, I mean nothing and their parents or family know Twice as much. Police have bigger fish to fry, and on Fridays their really busy! 11. I took the time to watch your video selection on YouTube. First impression of this technology from 1957, really not impressed. Nearly all of the major manufactures abounded this technology for lighter weight more powerful saws that could be mass produced with proven reliability. I suppose that if this technology was reintroduced to the market place it may have nich market share for a brief period of time at best before the bulk of the market made it clear to shelve this line for better and improved versions of existing technology. easy-lift guy
  12. You may have things going on behind the scenes that make your counter measures appear to be doing their job when in fact they are not. You may need a Second opinion since your email server and or computer may be compromised. My email started acting strangely last wensday and I ended up having to call in a IT company to go through and scrub down every file of both office computers. A slight expense, however the peace of mind was worth the investment. Take care easy-lift guy
  13. As long as you have your health insurance in force and your not concerned about future problems with your hands arms shoulder and upper torso in general you would not be a good fit for my product. You know what is best for you and my customers already know and are great full to have made the decision and investment going forward. It's not bragging when it's true:thumbup1: Take care easy-lift guy
  14. I hope you make a complete recovery. Remember to pace yourself and keep up with any and all physical therapy. easy-lift guy
  15. Thanks for the reply Metsaman. Happy cutting and splitting! easy-lift guy
  16. LOL, this thread can only get better:laugh1: easy-lift guy
  17. Nice piece of equipment. Appears to be rather labor intensive moving the smaller logs and than bench pressing said logs to be sawed and conveyed to log pile?. Is there a auto lift feature for the logs to be lifted to be sawed?. I would suggest a saw dust collection bin to redistribute the saw dust around your work area to reduce slippage while working. How much was your investment?, How long do you think it will take to pay for it's self? easy-lift guy
  18. Happy Birthday, and many happy returns!. easy-lift guy
  19. Steve, Not sure if you have access to this type of mattress, however I can vouch that my sleep number bed by select comfort has been the absolute best mattress for the money. The first night to the present has been great nights sleep. The mattress is adjustable and once you know your sleep number your set, of course it is adjustable for all body types and weights. My cost 8 years ago was about $1200.00 WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!. Sleep Number | Beds, Mattresses, Bedding, Pillows & More easy-lift guy
  20. Don't let your imagination make that decision. A deep wound and or puncture are not pre requisite for the infection. The bacteria is forever present the simple fact that a bleeding wound will sweep away said bacteria much less anything else is a falicy at best. Take care. easy-lift guy
  21. According to the Mayo clinic a tentus shot can last up to 10 years and a booster should be admistered every 5 years there after. With the number of injuries and at times the cavelier attitudes and or opinions of some members on this site, commen sence should carry the day which should include keeping track of this simple and affective means of preventing a really horrible death from occurring. easy-lift guy
  22. Horse feathers. easy-lift guy
  23. This non sense has been on the news over here as well. White and Gold, Grunt! easy-lift guy
  24. Your right, I am still waiting for my check in the mail:sneaky2: easy-lift guy
  25. I sit corrected, however my boat mechanic told me in spite of the fact that engines can run off of E-10 due to the fact that the fuel source is already contaminated with ethanol the amount of moisture absorbed from an environment surrounded by water means that much more water to ruin the engine sooner than later. My mechanic believes that you can maintain your engine better with Non-ethanol fuel as opposed to using E-10. The manufactures would love to have their engines wear out faster and cost the consumer more money. My mechanic does not have that philosophy. easy-lift guy
